read these serbian lies ...........propaganda in your face at its best VISOKI DEČANI -- The situation is calm on Friday afternoon in the vicinity of the monastery of Visoki Dečani in Kosovo, after "local extremists" were prevented to approach it. Earlier in the day, the Raška-Prizren Eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) stated that its medieval monastery had been under siege since Friday morning.
KFOR and Kosovo police blocked off the monastery and formed cordons around it in order to prevent extremists from approaching on Friday morning, reports said earlier in the day. In the afternoon, the KPS announced that "no protest took place", and that it had acted in time to prevent incidents. read more bs here : www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2013&mm=02&dd=08&nav_id=84588----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ahahahhahhah Look how the serbs hype this up past maximum ....it Hilarius as heck actually its a peaceful demonstration of 20 some people . The protest was peacful and ended without a single incident. The protesters simply wanted to protest near the monastery to show their dissatisfaction with some ruling that gave public land over to the monastery . the protest happened without incident but not near the monastery where they originally wanted ..... and serbs are claiming Albanian Kosovar Nuclear warheads are pointed and aiming at the Decani monastery ...wtf is wrong with you serbs ? ahhahhhhahahahahahahahahahaahha Go arrest Dacic for his drug cartel connection while you are finding more fake witnesses for organ transplant fiasco

and a few calm righteous comment from that b92 news report ..from Albanians but look at all the rest of the comments by serbs there ....they crying bloody murder ,terrorists and the usual jargon of serbian kitchen table Albanian hatred lines
"Why does the monastery need the land? They should be in the business of praying"
"That land has never belonged to the church so I fully understand the protestors. "
They have every right to protest. That land that was given to the monastery by the Milosevic regime, were taken from two cooperatives. This land has never belonged to the monastery but to the members of the cooperatives. Ahtisaari, in order to appease the Serbs gave that land back to the monastery and now the Supreme Court too. There will be tens of families that will be rendered unemployed and homeless from this decision. Why does the monastery need the land? They should be in the business of praying"
"People have the right to protest, especially in this case, where the church is being GIVEN 23 (!) hectares of land! That land has never belonged to the church so I fully understand the protestors. It's illogical to give that much land to a church that has already enough of it ..."
"and what will the Monastery do to these additional 23 hectars?? why not give it in use to the local commty? or the Monastry itself could develope some projects that could benefit the local commty and with that work on the reconciliation and peace. "

and this idiot that looks like Highduke ...he does ... Aleksandar Vulin "Attempt to erase evidence of existence of Serbs""BELGRADE -- Aleksandar Vulin says threats and protests in front of the Serb medieval monastery Visoki Dečani were an attempt to complete the ethnic cleansing in Kosovo. According to the director of the Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija, they also aimed to remove any evidence of the existence of Serbs there. Vulin thanked members of the Italian KFOR contingent, "without whom the monastery would most probably have been burnt down", noting that this was the fifth attack on Visoki Dečani since the 1999 NATO bombing campaign. " 20 some Albanian farmers peacefully protesting .....and they trying to angle this big time ahhahhhhahahahahhahahahahahahahah ahhahhahhahahh WTF

Man, what's your problem?
It was KFOR that brought these threats to everyone's attention - the Italians in specific.
Serbs have right to be concerned here, you're being irrational - you're in limbo - you want to support the attacks but are careful - so you critisize the Serbs instead of looking at the root-issue.
(ps that last link doesn't work for me - are you now arguing the Albs built this monastery?... please say it ain't sooo LMAOO!!! )

the link works for me .. The monastery of Decani, built in 1325-1335. Its architect was Vita of Cattaro, a Catholic "According to A. Slijepcevic, these monasteries were not so much intended to be places of worship; rather, they constituted landmarks either in conquered territories or away from from state rule. In the latter case, they were like attempts to "rapprochments".
Medieval Serbian documents clearly indicate that the villages surrounding the Serbian monasteries were inhabited by Albanians, who contributed to their maintenance.
It is now time to point out that these places of worship would have been destroyed in the course of years had it not been for the Albanians. It is to them that they owe their existence. For centuries, the guardians of these churches - the vojvods, as they are called - have always been Moslem Albanians, elected by the neighboring villages of these churches. There were times when the Albanians experienced bitter and inimical feelings in regard to the Serbs, especially following the Berlin Congress, when tens of thousands of their co-nationals inhabiting the regions ceded to Serbia and Montenegro were brutally driven out of their homes and forced to leave the region. There were also times, especially at the turn of the century, when the Albanians, disobeying the Turks, held sway in those territories, where they constituted over 90% of the population. It was thus in their power to reduce to ashes those places of worship. But they did not do so despite the fact that they were fighting the Serbs. This surprising attitude is due to the Albanian Code of Laws (the Code of Laws of Lek Dukagjini, rightly regarded as the bible of the North Albania), which penalizes those who do not show respect for churches even if they are not their own. Numerous were the vojvods killed while defending one or the other of these monasteries. Orthodox priests sent to their families letters of praise and gratitude"

The monastery was established in a chestnut grove by Serbian King Stefan Uroš III Dečanski in 1327. Its original founding charter is dated to 1330. The following year the king died and was buried at the monastery, which henceforth became his popular shrine. Indeed, the epithet Dečanski refers to the king's foundation of the monastery. The construction was continued by his son Emperor Stefan Uroš IV Dušan until 1335, but the wall-painting was not completed until 1350.
The monastic church, dedicated to Christ Pantocrator and built from blocks of red-purple, light-yellow and onyx marble, was constructed by builders working under a FRANCISCAN friar, VITUS OF KOTOR. The church is distinguished by its imposing size and Romanesque and early Gothic structure and design. Apart from the extensive and well preserved fresco cycles the interior features the original 14th-century stone templon, the throne of the hegumen and the carved wooden sarcophagus of the founder King Stefan. ---
Who cares the Catholics were also involved - this shows the mutual respect. You're arguing for something different - you're looking for reasons to justify these animalistc behavors as you always do. You still have trouble looking at yourself in the mirror - maybe you see an Italian like James Belushi does.

fuk'n Orsen G. Wellovich's you serbs are
War of the Worlds Radio Broadcast Causes Panic
On Sunday, October 30, 1938, millions of radio listeners were shocked when radio news alerts announced the arrival of Martians. They panicked when they learned of the Martians' ferocious and seemingly unstoppable attack on Earth. Many ran out of their homes screaming while others packed up their cars and fled.
Though what the radio listeners heard was a portion of Orson Welles' adaptation of the well-known book, War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells, many of the listeners believed what they heard on the radio was real.

You're an idiot rex. In the article YOU posted it even states that it was KFOR who sent the warning and it was them who were initially concerned BEFORE everyone else.
Everything happening there NOW is because of KFOR - know your politics man. Serbs now are reacting to the initial KFOR warnings.

Rex I asked you to get to the bottom line and you respond by saying im "grasping for straws" LMAOOO look at the idiots I deal with on a daily basis...it's no wonder the Albs were always led, and never leaders. Dear Mother America You 'appropriated' Kosovo for us, please 'obtain' Presevo too. We'll come back for bits of Greece, Montenegro, Macedonia (and anything else we have forgotten to list) later. We don't want a mono-ethnic Greater Albania - that is all lies. However, we would appreciate it if you would drive out foreigners for us if they fail to love us totally. This all our land since millions of years ago when we were Dinosaurs - just like your land was marked out for European Settlers since before the bible was written. I know we are supposed to be islamic, but don't take that too seriously. We are not Arabs and God is on our side too. I don't quite know what God the Serbs worship, but it can't be the same one as us. We don't have vendetta against Serbs - but the Italians taught you how important that can be, so please understand if we get a little bit that way. Also, our international trade is an essential part of your economic recovery - people importing would be easier if it was legalised, but on the other hand please don't legalise street-level-pharmaceuticals because it would put us out of business. With love from your child and your invention, Kosov'a' PS God bless America (Bob, 7 February 2013 17:56) Read more: illyria.proboards.com/thread/36803/kosovos-law-order#ixzz2KM78IXimROFLMAO
