Albanian historiography, which was originally founded by the Austro-Hungarian Historians: Von Hahn
along with Benjamin Von Kally and Lajos Thalloczy, who have attempted to convey a romantic story of
the ancestral origin of Albanians linking them to the so-called ancient Illyrians. The narrative that the
Serbians are the invaders and newcomers who have settled in the previous settlements of Albanians is
a popular theory that has been constructed and popularized by the Austro-Hungarian historians, who
did everything to ensure the creation of the new Albanian nation and national consciousness. We will
provide an alternative viewpoint in this video, one that is scientifically and academically backed, relying
on first hand primary sources rather than conjecture.
