N. Cyprus looks to Talat's Turkey visitThursday, January 3, 2008 NICOSIA - Anatolia news agency Northern Cyprus attaches considerable importance to President Mehmet Ali Talat's visit to Turkey that comes before the Turkish president's scheduled meeting with United States officials in Washington. Talat's spokesman, Hasan Erçakıca, said yesterday that full-fledged discussions would be held with regard to the Cyprus problem, adding that an active period would start following the presidential elections in Greek Cyprus.
