LOL! It's how all men think. Well I don't think that! The fact of the matter is that people today are too self indulgent and so far stuck up their own ar.ses, that they expect to have a lot without putting any effort it. You only have to ask your mothers and grandmothers how much they had to struggle with their lives for little reward. On the subject of kids: well it is a lot of work raising a child, and it is probably impossible to bring up 2 or 3 kids and work at the same time while they are young. Therefore sacrifices have to be made. And as I am not prepared to leave my career in order to raise children, I don't believe women should either. Also I wouldn't be comfortable not earning money and depending on my wife's, so why should my partner do the same? It is not a relationship of equals then. Hence compromises should be found, or work somewhere where they have generous maternity leave. But in some places it is impossible to own a house without two income streams, e.g. London, UK.

Humbleman, be a humble man and chill out a little. My mother did it. Obviously. Everyone has to make sacrifices. Nobody told them to do so. No relationship is ever equal, the Man, usually, is the one who earns more money. So tell me something. Why do some rich, and I mean very rich people, who don't have to do anything at all, have no children? Then move to the countryside. It's like that in every major city across this very globe. Dude there's always alternatives. Always!

Well you did say that people don't have as many children today because women choose to have careers. So as far I understand it from you it is the woman's fault, while men have absolutely no responsibility in child rearing. Sorry I did not make myself clear: When the children are really young (i.e. todlers or babies) then it is impossible to raise them and have a career at the same time. And there is a difference between a career and a job. What has that got to do with what I said? No because it sucks!

Did you get the part where I said, full out, that I was joking? Or maybe you missed that memo?
My mom had a career and raised me, at the same time.
I never said you said anything about that. It was my question to you dude.
Pure curriousity to see what you think.
Then move to another country, where the countryside doesn't suck.
