Locations, ruins, artifacts, weapons, statues, modern potrayals etc.. Post some pics. There's really not much out there compared to other ancient people but lets gather some here. Should be interesting. Try to avoid "we are illyrians you're not" argument plz. That's irrelevant in this thread. Daorson was a Hellenistic city of the Illyrian Daorsi located in Ošaniæi near Stolac in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Daorson, during the 4th century BC, was surrounded by megalithic, 5 meter high stonewalls (large as those of Mycenae in Greece), composed out of large trapeze stones blocks. Jerome (ca. 347 – September 30, 420) whose real name in Latin was Eusebius Sophronius Hieronymus (Greek: Ευσέβιος Σωφρόνιος Ιερώνυμος, also known as Hieronymus Stridonensis) was a Christian apologist best known for translating the Vulgate, a widely popular Latin edition of the Bible.
Jerome was born at Strido, on the border between Pannonia and Dalmatia, in modern-day Croatia, as mentioned in his De Viris Illustribus Chapter 135. He is presumed by some to have been an Illyrian, but this may just be conjecture.
