I like comedians who go after religion, like Bill Maher.

George Carlin is my favorite of all time, but Louis C.K. is the best currently IMO.
Ricky Gervais is also real funny:

There are pyramids in Bosnia and in them huge reservoirs of oil.

Yep. Some of the most common reasons for this pattern are as follows: a) Some women don't actually want real commitment. b) Some women inadvertently seek to recreate the bad relationships their parents had. c) Some women have emotional baggage that prevents them from getting intimate, so they seek out men who can't be intimate. d) Some women have low self-esteem that makes them believe they aren't worthy of a good man. www.submityourarticle.com/articles/Cucan-Pemo-1732/unavailable-men-26513.php

Taken, Slumdog Millionaire, The English Patient, The Queen, The Prestige, Atonement, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later aren't funny, yet they are all successful.

Why do you care so much? I could care less if there's Muslims in Europe as long as they are assimilated. P.S. Did you smite me?

^Those numbers are inflated. They don't take into account how many of them will kill themselves, and others, for their religion.

It's impossible to intellectualize a film you've never seen. Once you see it, the whole notion of artistry or the use of metaphors goes out the window. There's nothing in the film that is in any way socially redeemable, since it was only made for shock value. Either that or Spasojevic is a sociopath, I'm betting it's a combination of both.

Yeah, I haven't noticed much stereotyping when it comes to Croats in foreign cinema. One exception is in Savior with Dennis Quaid, there's a Croat soldier killing Serb civilians with a hammer (I'm not making this up!!). Even in ER Dr. Kovac, played by Goran Visnjic, always talks about Serbs shelling his house, but never mentions anything negative about Croats. Meanwhile, anytime you need a bad guy in a movie it's probably going to be a Serb or sometimes an Albanian, while the victim tends to be Bosnian Muslim. They tend to see everything black and white internationally.
This new film, Srpski film, doesn't do anything to alleviate the stereotyping. It just shows violence and sodomy for a couple of hours with an ending that involves a father sodomizing his own son. Srdjan Spasojevic set us even further back with this dumb, graphic film.
