Serbia: SocGen to open 24 new offices

Societe Generale Serbia plans to increase the number of offices in Serbia from 76 to 100.
Societe Generale Serbia Managing Board President Goran Pitic says that the basic bank's goal is to increase its market share, as the bank is currently ranked 6th and 7th in Serbia according to the retail and corporate sectors among the total of 37 banks, 'Serbia & Montenegro Today' reports.
Pitic also said that the bank currently caters 300.000 clients in Serbia, out of which 6.000 are corporate clients, while the plan stipulates attracting 7.000 such clients.
Societe Generale increased its capital by EUR 50mn to EUR 160 mn in September this year. (Serbia & Montenegro Today)
