Police discover three bombs in Budapest24 October 2008 | 09:31 | Source: Beta BUDAPEST -- Hungarian police discovered three explosive devices in central Budapest on Thursday night.
The devices were placed on vehicles in central Budapest, and were remotely controlled.
The police have arrested one person who is being questioned by the police, a Budapest police spokeswoman told Reuters.
Several right wing extremist movements organized protests on Thursday against the government in the Hungarian capital, marking the anniversary of the anti-Soviet rebellion of October 23, 1956.
Even though police special forces were present during the demonstration, there were no clashes between protestors and police.
Late last night the police took into custody a dozen or so protestors.

The devices were found in one vehicle and the owner of the car was arrested. Now there are not too many infos it seems the guy is a Hungarian far rightist and the police still inquire what did he wanted to do with the stuff. Btw we should have 23rd October celebrations more often in the year, it was cool the city was quite empty many ppl travelled to the country side during the national holiday.

Police were quoted as saying Tolgyesi had stated in his confession that he built the bombs from internet instructions. He was arrested during police action to stop groups of rightwing extremists causing trouble in Budapest. Tolgyesi was said to have worked as a car mechanic after ending his sporting career. aha so far rightist hungarians are terrorist, lol what, im mean what lol? the only terrorist i know is this buzi gyurcsany who is wrecking the lives of many hungarians in hungary. interest rates must be stamped out, wages should increase then hungarian economy would be so powerful, that they would have the similarity of switzerland or monaco or lebanon. I hope that there would be a day for me to celebrate when gyurcsany and all commies and pro-west american hungarians will be assasinated, and a rightous loyal hungarian who want to keep the hungarian tradition in the country takes power, not jobbik or magyar garda but someone with clean heart, i prefer hungary to become a kingdom again, without any influence from foreign countries. Habsburg is for once and for all should leave hungary alone, i will be the first one to revolt against them, if this happens.
