Hey guys. i was wondering if any of you would be generous enough to post up some pictures that you may have of Bulgaria during winter. And for the forgien visitors to this sub-section, feel free to post some pictures and winter stories as well from your home country or current residence, just don't over do it with the pics eh. Post some stories, get some humour going, lighten up this place a little. i don't have any pictures up, but here's one that I found of Vancouver: story: with the first snowfall, everyone in the city panics, everything closes down, no-one knows how to drive. Last year student in one university which is on top of a mini-mountain got stuck overnight sleeping in the gym cause the buses couldn't make it up.

The one of Sofia is defiantly intense. It's sad though, it shows how under-developed certain areas really are, the old time communist buildings are so damp and depressing i must say. there also doesn't appear to be any real sky scrapper, though from this angle it's hard to tell.

And the apartments in those luxury buildings are sold average - 1500 EUR per square meter

Winter in Bulgaria should be avoided when possible...saves some headaches.
