“Croatian-Serbian partnership natural” 25 November 2008 | 10:33 | Source: FoNet BELGRADE -- Croatia’s Ambassador to Serbia says “daily political issues” between the two countries should be surmounted, and that they are not of a long-term nature.
Following last night’s promotion of Croatian tourism and the forthcoming World Handball Championships, Ambassador Tonèi Stanièiæ said that “Croatia and Serbia are natural partners, since they were pillars of a former country.”
“I truly believe that these two countries can be pillars of regional cooperation in every respect,” he said.
He stressed that the World Handball Championships, to be held in Croatia from January 16 until February 1, will further contribute to regional cooperation.

Yes there should be a good partnership and we should move on which is why i dont know why Croatia is sueing Serbia for a genocide that didnt happen. Its holding us back and is a waste of time.

^ One day Fends we'll all wonder what we've done to our Yugo, when this nationalistic hype settles. I didn't like to see Yugo go, but l squarely put the blame on the Western nations particulary USA, UK, Germany and to tiny degree on Albanian nationalists in Kosovo.

I am wondering WTF we did to it now, and the nationalistic hype is still on.... I do not see it getting back, nor do I see the Balkans ever getting normal in any shape, and I think that it will stay the way it is for the next 100 years in BiH, in EXYU in the whole Balkan. But WTF happened??, it was like the 4th strongest european power

If Germany and France, or Germany and Russia or even Germany and Israel (hell Germany builds submarines for Israel) can work together and be civil, after all the shit that they did to each other in the last two centuries ( shit that dwarfs our little disagreement my thousand fold magnitude) I don't see why Croatia and Serbia could not. It just takes time, just gotta wait for us from the war generation to die out.

Funny thing about the Croatian suit is that they filed it 3 weeks after NATO stopped bombing Serbia (on July 2, 1999)... that tells Serbs a little something about Croatia as a country
