Serbian director gets New York retrospective 9 January 2008 | 09:14 | Source: Tanjug NEW YORK -- New York's Museum of Modern Art will host a retrospective of Goran Paskaljeviæ's films.
The event is set to start today and will be open until January 31.
13 feature and two short films by one of the most prominent Serbian directors will be included in the retrospective organized by the museum's senior curator Laurence Kardish.
The Ministry of Culture has helped to organize the event, along with the Serbian Film Archives and other institutions.
A statement from the ministry describes the New York event as Paskaljeviæ's continued contribution to the promotion of Serbian cinematography and culture abroad.
