I was recently on holiday to Vienna throughout October and November anyway on the plane trip from Australia to Vienna I was seated amongst the Romanian Rugby Union Team, apparently earlier that day they had played a match in New Zealand against the All Blacks and apparently had lost quite badly but after all the All Blacks are one of the best Union teams in the World along with Australia and England.
I was suprised to see they had a Samoan guy on there team, imagine a Samoan guy hanging out in Romania eating Mamaglia lol.
But really I didnt know before that day that Romania had a Rugby Union team and apparently they have had quite a tradition of playing Rugby Union for nearly 100 years wow.

And were they loud?
yes they were a bit noisy but generally well behaved and they didnt seem to get drunk on the plane, they were mostly big guys as you expect Rugby players to be.
I dont speak Romanian but it took me only a few minutes to recognise the language then when I saw one guy with jacket that said Romanian Rugby Union team I knew I was right.
One funny thing I found out when they played against Russia they stole the Russian players shoes lol.

One funny thing I found out when they played against Russia they stole the Russian players shoes lol. The Russians stole from us our national treasury and 30 years later, we were forced to pay the world war II compensations 5 times. They should have stolen more than some shoes.

Thieves have stolen several Russian rugby players' boots in Bucharest - just days before the national team's match against Romania, officials say. ... domsweirdnews.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

Thank you for promoting the kindness of Romanians. ;D

I didnt want to do anything but your balkanian style paranoia is showing up hehe.
I am just simply relating 2 things firstly my experience to fly with Romanian Rugby team.
and secondly after I arrived in Vienna I wanted to know what the Ro team was doing on my plane so I googled them and founds out 2 things 1) they played in New Zealand that day and lost badly. 2) when they played against Russia apparently the shoes of the Russian players were stolen.
That is not my article I just find it in net for you and ya its not from same source article I read whilst in Vienna.
Thirdly why would Hungarians be hanging out at Romanian Rugby game to steal Russian shoes and No Lamancha Gypsies are related to North Indians not Hungarians not to mention there is much more of them in Romania than Hungary.

after I arrived in Vienna I wanted to know what the Ro team was doing on my plane. Do you have a plane boskarthehun? Yeah, i'm wondering too. Don't you Hungarians have any shoes? It's impossible, we have 2 or maybe 3 millions of them, but the population of Hungary afaik is much larger than that.

I think maybe you are old enough to understand what I meant.
We can afford shoes, the implication was that Romanians were stealing shoes from Russians.
and obviously your knowledge doesnt go very far

These arguments will not help our national rugby team to beat New Zealand! Boys, focus your efforts on sport, please! Our target should be the Common Wealth teams, not our neighbors!

The autors of the theft are unknown but stealing it's a well known Asian hobby so i suppose it is a fair chance the autors were Hungarians.

I think if you explore the stereotypes of Hungarians and Romanians you will find Romanians tend to be more stereotyped as being involved in stealing than Magyars.

Also if you explore the stereotypes of Hungarians and Romanians you will find Hungarians tend to be more stereotyped as bullchiting on internet than Romanians. Even all this discussions were started by your equivocal sentence "One funny thing I found out when they played against Russia they stole the Russian players shoes lol."

That is what I read in the article it wasnt my invention and maybe it wasn't recieved too well but I dont think my intention was to be offensive I even thought the idea of Russian players missing their shoes was slightly comical although I dont advocate stealing. About bullchitting in internet well I have seen some of the Romanian ultra nationalist sites.

As expected, they've beaten us... www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2007/sep/30/rugbyunion.rugbyworldcup2007Those happy moments when we were competing France trying to promote into the 5 nations tournament, are long ago... They've lost the appetite for "mamaliga" letting those "polenta" eaters Italians surpass us! Between us, I would be interested in a map of the "mamaliga" in Europe! Craciun ( karácsony) fericit!
