Serbia's Novak Djokovic has won the Australian Open men's singles title at Melbourne Park.
Djokovic beat Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 4-6 6-4 6-3 7-6 (7-2) in tonight's final.
It is the 20-year-old Serb's first grand slam final win.
His previous best performance in a grand slam tournament was losing the final of last year's US Open to world No.1 Roger Federer.

Watched the whole match last night and thought it was a great battle. Novaks experience shone through while it was obvious that Tsonga struggled with someone that played a similar game to him, i.e. fast flat groundstrokes rather than slow looping ground strokes in which Tsonga had time to hammer.

"fast flat groundstrokes rather than slow looping ground strokes in which Tsonga had time to hammer."
That is how he had beaten Nadal.

^ I gotta say Nadal generates so much top spin...there is so much effort for him to do so...l suppose that is why his seen as maybe the greatest clay court specialist ever to play.
I like watching matches on clay better than hard court games.
