Goran Bregovic to sing in the Eurovision national final TVR announced few minutes ago that the Romanian Eurovision National final which will be held on February 23 will be a special one. TVR has invited Goran Bregovic to sing on the National Eurovision stage: "We thought to join the atmosphere from Serbia earlier and to bring in the Romanians houses a small piece of the Serbian spirit. Goran Bregovic means much more than this and we are happy he has accepted our invitation", said Ioan Duma, the project manager. Goran Bregovic was born in Sarajevo on March 22, 1950. He is one of the most famous artists from the Balkans. He wrote songs for Iggy Pop, Ofra Haza or Cesaria Evora. He became famous at an international level with the music from the movies of Emil Kusturica ("Arizona Dream", "Underground"). www.oikotimes.com/v2/index.php?file=articles&id=2368

^ Given that Goran is a good musician he should tell them no. Eurovision is an absolute pile of crap and he should not try to associate with it in any way.

Eurovision is a chance for your country to represent itself at a continental level.
Not to mention Eurovision is the most popular in serbia than any other country in europe right now

Eurovision is a chance for your country to represent itself at a continental level, you moron. So. The music is absolute rubbish and I'd prefer Serbia come in last place. The Eurovision competition is pointless. It should be done by a jury like it was before and not by national votes as it is now. I don't get the point of this sentence. Eurovision is not a country, which you seem to indicate.

No. It isn't. eurovision is as popular in Serbia as it is in any country that has a chance to win the competition (i.e. in serbia it has the same popularity as it does in the rest of the Balkans and CIS countries).
