Protivan tvojeg misljenja nije nikad "normalno" ozljediti covjeka. Medutim mogu samo zamisliti kakav bih licemjer ispao da su uloge obrnute. "Gle kak Lukic pali ustase, bre..."

Vijoslav, Lekkas is an acknowledged Arvanite(Albanian originated Greek) from the Albanian Leka, which is the short form vernacular of Alexander(or Alex), which is in turn a Greek name.
We had such a person in this forum a while back and he gave a list of modern Greek surnames that were Arvanite derived. That was back in the old forum.

highduke - the pronounciation means 'brigand' in several east EU languages altough it is hungarian-derived and then theres the english meaning suggesting nobility. i'd say its the most creative usrname one could think of.

Let's end the agony over LEKA. Leka may mean lek/medicine/doctor or it may be a diminutive for Alexandar and it doesn't just have to be in the Dinaric regions of Abania that this diminutive for ALEKSANDAR is used, although the normal deminutive is ACA or SASA. Take Aleksandar 'Leka' Rankovic for example, born in Drazevac near the town of Obrenovac in central Serbia: Lekovic is a Serbia surname: www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=lekovic+serbia&meta=LEK-DERIVED-PLACES IN SERBIA:indexmundi.com/zp/yi/6740.htmLekici Republika Srbija 43.2427778 21.3591667 352 1155 Lekici Republika Crna Gora 42.3894444 19.1894444 21 69 Lekici Republika Srbija 43.8016667 19.6988889 769 2523 Lekici Republika Srbija 44.5027778 19.4380556 228 748 Lekici Republika Srbija 43.9241667 19.7325 614 2014 Lekici Republika Srbija 42.7452778 20.1058333 1470 4823 Lekperici Republika Crna Gora 42.0738889 19.3491667 317 1040 LEK-DERIVED-PLACES IN BOSNIA HERCEGOVINA:indexmundi.com/zp/bk/9200.htmLekanje Republika Srpska 44.7352778 17.3527778 309 1014 Leke Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 43.3077778 17.4641667 272 892 Leke Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 43.2536111 17.8388889 43 141 Leke Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 43.3322222 17.3736111 289 948 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.3594444 16.9477778 623 2044 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.4977778 17.0880556 956 3136 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.2680556 17.0588889 498 1634 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.4763889 17.0694444 779 2556 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.3408333 16.8322222 397 1302 Lekici Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 44.5461111 18.1802778 333 1093 Lekina Draga Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 43.4475 17.4188889 738 2421 LEK-DERIVED-PLACES IN CROATIA:indexmundi.com/zp/hr/3680.htmLekci Licko-Senjska Zupanija 44.7669444 15.1747222 506 1660 Leke Splitsko-Dalmatinska Zupanija 43.4647222 17.2727778 646 2119 Most of these places are in the Raska-Prizren (Old Serbia) area and Montenegro and all Croatian Lek-derived places are in historically Serb parts of Croatia.=================== Greeks named Lekos: www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=lekos+greece&meta=Greeks named Lekas: www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=lekas+greece&meta=LEK-DERIVED-PLACES IN GREECE: Leka Nomos Samou (SAMOS ISLAND) 37.7733333 26.6858333 215 705 Lekani (THRACE) NA 41.1666667 24.55 796 2612 Lekatsata (CORFU) NA 38.3333333 20.55 252 827 ================== Lekaj is a clan from N. Bulgarian scholar Selishev's map of Slavic toponyms in Albania:

So, what all these facts point to is that LEKA among Albanians is a remnant of ancestral Serb populations, whereas its presence in Greece has nothing to do with Serbs at all.
PS: Researching this whole LEKA issue has enabled me to solve one of my biggest problems impeding my research into Albanian ethnogenesis:THANK YOU indexmundi.com!

Highduke your the biggest dimwit in this forum. You simply listed toponyms and said they were "Serb derived"
Here are some etymological explanations for you since all the Lek's in Albania can be explained in Albanian:
Lekaj = surname Leka(Alexander followed by the typical suffix -aj meaning indicating clan leader: Literally The Alexanders) LekeBibaj, LekDushe, Lekegjonaj = surnames, Alexander (Leka son of Bibaj, Dush and The Johns, respectively). Lekur = skin. Lekunde = Rock as a noun, jerk(shake) as a verb.
God your a moron. I never said the Lek's in Serbia have anything to do with the ones in Albania.

(why is not in serbia) 3) do you remember Din Leka Marashi? , founder of Karagjorgjevic Clan 4) do you know Leka is tipycall name of Albanians also surname...also was tribes since at least XII Century (900 years ago)? 5) Can you say something about it? According to legend, Leka, the founder of Godinje’s Lekovica clan, came across a male goat with a wet beard, standing under the hazelnut trees. Leka, chased the goat and after losing track of him finally saw the goat drinking from the spring. Leka decided to sacrifice the goat to this new spring, so that the water would always run without stop. To this day the spring never dries up, a fact not lost on modern day residents of Godinje who depend on the spring for their drinking water.link: www.montenegro.com/phototrips/central/Crmnica_-_the_village_of_Godinje.htmlLekovic is a Serbia surname: www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=lekovic+serbia&meta=LEK-DERIVED-PLACES IN SERBIA: indexmundi.com/zp/yi/6740.htmLekici Republika Srbija 43.2427778 21.3591667 352 1155 Lekici Republika Crna Gora 42.3894444 19.1894444 21 69 Lekici Republika Srbija 43.8016667 19.6988889 769 2523 Lekici Republika Srbija 44.5027778 19.4380556 228 748 Lekici Republika Srbija 43.9241667 19.7325 614 2014 Lekici Republika Srbija 42.7452778 20.1058333 1470 4823 Lekperici Republika Crna Gora 42.0738889 19.3491667 317 1040 LEK-DERIVED-PLACES IN BOSNIA HERCEGOVINA: indexmundi.com/zp/bk/9200.htmLekanje Republika Srpska 44.7352778 17.3527778 309 1014 Leke Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 43.3077778 17.4641667 272 892 Leke Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 43.2536111 17.8388889 43 141 Leke Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 43.3322222 17.3736111 289 948 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.3594444 16.9477778 623 2044 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.4977778 17.0880556 956 3136 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.2680556 17.0588889 498 1634 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.4763889 17.0694444 779 2556 Lekici Republika Srpska 44.3408333 16.8322222 397 1302 Lekici Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 44.5461111 18.1802778 333 1093 Lekina Draga Federacija Bosne i Hercegovine 43.4475 17.4188889 738 2421 LEK-DERIVED-PLACES IN CROATIA: indexmundi.com/zp/hr/3680.htmLekci Licko-Senjska Zupanija 44.7669444 15.1747222 506 1660 Leke Splitsko-Dalmatinska Zupanija 43.4647222 17.2727778 646 2119 Good, you just proved albanians who founed those towns...also search about Arnautovich (son of albanian, wich are cousin of Leka tribes) you can find alot around Balcan

I am pretty sure that Leko means healthy/health, Ljek/Lek means medicine/cure and Leka means doctor/healer. Highduke your the biggest dimwit in this forum. You simply listed toponyms and said they were "Serb derived" Here are some etymological explanations for you since all the Lek's in Albania can be explained in Albanian: Lekaj = surname Leka(Alexander followed by the typical suffix -aj meaning indicating clan leader: Literally The Alexanders) LekeBibaj, LekDushe, Lekegjonaj = surnames, Alexander (Leka son of Bibaj, Dush and The Johns, respectively). So why would you assume that Leka (assuming that is his surname, nickname or profession) is from Albania or was a Shqiptar?
