First of all, Svastika in Germany is illegal. Any time anyone can sue you and police can arrest you only for that! I know that.
Second, in Greece we dont beat foreign citizens. There are almost 20 million tourists every year from every corner of the earth. Also there at least 500,000 from Fyrom. Since there is no provocation... nobody beats none.
Now... if we believe Gruevski & Co.... and 3-4 truck drivers were threatened (not beaten!) to move the insignia from their cars..... then something is wrong with these 3-4 persons. Not with the 20 millions.
On other hand.... Greek tourists... were all of them above 50 years of age and half of them were women. Also... they didnt cary any symbols except the Greek plates.
So, dont compare the attitude of 3-4 truck! drivers (if that ever happened!) with a lady 60 years of age. I wonder if the bus was full with of guys like me.... those ninios from the photo... would they dare to show up...
One more time Rhezus... you comper 2 tottaly different stories... AND ... IF we believe the truck drivers story from Gruevski news...

Rhezus there are no bad feelings between Bulgarians and Greeks. We are friends now and we are in the same club. In Teory there may have been some problems, because the Greek policemen in the border had the power to stop a Bulgarian from entering in Greece under certain circumstances. I went to Greece in 2006 and I didnt have any problems (I had all my documents I needed). All my friends who visited Greece before 2007 didnt complain. So I think if some Bulgarian was stopped its probably cause he didnt have all the documents needed for entering.

Ioan, I see you want to be good friend of Greece, but don't blind for the facts, pls. This example is as late as june'06. Greek had/have same attitude towards Bulgarians as i.e. towards Albanians. Doesn't matter if BG is EU member or not, they think somehow they're preveleged.. Bulgarian Complains of Greek Border Abuse Politics | June 4, 2006, Sunday
"Greek border officers have beaten up a Bulgarian who tried to enter the country, the man has told reporters. Stoyan Kozarev from Plovdiv complained that his papers were all right, but the Greeks insulted and beat him. The border officers took him indoors, where they slapped him in the face and used a truncheon to hit him in the back and legs, Kozarev told the bTV channel. He accused the officers of personal offences against him, as well as of insulting the Bulgarian nation. Doctors have examined the man and confirmed his injuries. Now the Bulgarian pledges to use the document for legal action against the reported bullies. The Greek consulate in Plovdiv has been informed on the incident, and will publish an official statement, bTV said after contacting the office." www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=64481

^ There are stupid people in every nation, no matter Greek or Bulgarian. Exept that it is not written what that person has done to deserve such treatment. And yeah, I could say I am all for close friendship with the Greeks, I think both countries could benefit from it and proove that neighbours could be friends.

Spirit of Tartary "Plenty of incidents took place in Greece reveal the reliability of your perceptions" ------------------------------------------------------------------- Jannisary... dodnt forget; You're a Turk... means the last person in the world can speak about bad treatment of non-Turkish people. I dont want to mention the 35 burned alive Greek tourists inside their bus etc etc... Just dont forget you're a Turk every time you make a comment on such incidents.. Dude... let others do the talking in this post. Really now... Vasili, you are out of line. Cease and desist this attitude toward others. If you have issues about other peoples, keep it to yourself or I will intervene. The comment above is way beyond an insult. Be nice. PS. By the way... do you read the links when you post them?? A Palestinian beaten by police during a demonstration while he was trying to enter the Israel Embassy in Greece...... An Australian tourist beaten by a bouncer in a night club (like thousand of Greeks too! ..unfortunately this time the beaten was fatal... like it happened to 3-4 Greeks too!!)...... some drunken English tourist were beaten by bouncers or other citizens (all over the world English get drunk and get beaten!)... etc etc etc dude... read your links first and then try to differentiate between 35 burned men and women alive in a bus... and the above incidents.

Rhezus "Bulgarian Complains of Greek Border Abuse" ------------------------------------------------------ Rhezus... you're kidding us right?? Do you know how many Bulgarians pass everyday the borders to get in Greece cities just for trade? Do you know how many Bulgarians come every summer in Greece to work? Do you know how many Bulgarians come every weekend in Thessaloniki just for fun?
...and you come with one person.... that "suddenly" was "attacked" by "crazy" border officers?? Am I the only one here that finds that story somehow weird..?
Listen... if someone insults me or his behavior on me is aggressive.. I'll beat the sh.it out of him regardless if he is Bulgarian, Greek, Serbian or Albanian. Thats not a racist attack. Dont be stupid..

Basil, I know that many Bulgarians go to Greece and vice versa. That's not any problem.. and you've been always treated good as tourist in BG. But there were plenty of complains, especially how Greek border officers treated BG tourists. I was reading in a newspaper (for a couple of years ago) some horrible examples about how greek employers treat BG girls, surching for a job over the border. I remember that some of them were inseminated, get pregnant and were held in the family's house until they gave birth - then after sent back to Bulgaria and the baby registered as it was the greek wife who gave the birth. Such stories Basil, which you probably have never heard in Greece.

How about walking away from an insult like a real man? You can't do that, can you?
Are you sure? I think you would be safer to say you will TRY to beat the sh.it out of him. That's more truthful.

That's what the Greeks have been doing ever since these brainwashed Skopjians started laying claim to a Greek name. Maybe the Greeks should send the tanks over?

Considering that Greece has overreacted about many things concerning the name issue, I would not be surprised if they do something that stupid.

Can you show where it is written that it is a violation if one has R.o.M. or MK on his car? Who decides what abreviation on the car plates Rep. of Makedonia should have? Please read the INTERIM ACCORD which was agreed and signed by both Greece and this Former Yugoslav state governments at the time. www.phantis.com/cosmos/spip.php?article78There is no Macedonian nation, can you find it in the U.N’s official website www.un.org/members/list.shtml#tIf not, then they are illegaly using it before any acceptable name has been agreed upon so thus it is a breach of agreement...And is an insult to the Greek Macedonians who number in the 2.5 to 2.8 million, they didn't give the name away nor did anyone ask them if it was ok to use. .

I have. So where does it state that a car from Macedonia can not use the "MK" sticker? Where? There is a part of the accord that speaks of symbols, but it is specific and does not involve "MK" stickers, stamps from Macedonia affixed to letters going to Greece, etc.

Their double decker bus was set on fire by a mentally ill person some 18 years ago. Will we talk about Greece or Turkey here?

Spirit of Tartary,
Do you think it is okay to allow the cultural genocide by Fyromians of their Bulgarian, Albanian, Vlach, Albanian, Turk, and the 2.8 million Greek Macedonians? Is this something that you agree with? Because truly it would be a tragedy to allow such uncultured and uncouth people to destroy the culture of the Balkans and the Mediterranean. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE WALMART OF EUROPEAN ETHNIC GROUPS. THE MCDONALDS OF RESTAURANTS.

Read again: -Jannisary... dodnt forget; You're a Turk... means the last person in the world can speak about bad treatment of non-Turkish people.- Where exactly is the insult? Is it an insult to remind to somebody of Turkish origins the treatment over Greeks or the Armenian genocide?? I dint even use any "names".. Quite weird comment MacMako...
