I'm just wondering why you never see Bosniaks use ancient traditional Bosniak names like Abdul, Mohammad, Alija, Muslimovic etc for their usernames?

Because using your own name also as forum name is kinda lame if you ask me.

What kind of crap can you give me for having the name Haris? Just curious?

Why would we pick our own names for our usernames?
LOL, are you saying his name isnt Haris?
Question for Serbs: how come you care so much about Bosniaks? Do you think about us in your sleep aswell?

As far as names go, I think the only people who call me by my first name are my mother and my girlfriend whenever she's PMS'n and looking to start a fight for no reason at all, everyone else calls me by my nickname.
As far as religious crap goes, 'Mirza' is treated as a Muslim name in Bosnia amongst other countries, yet in India its used as a last name or a title. I've met plenty of Arabs who told me that the name IS and ISNT Muslim so thats what I gathered from it. As far as I'm concerned, the name is Persian and thats where I leave it off.
Religion had jack s**t to do with my parents giving me this name. I was born in 1983 so a large portion of kids born around that year or before and little after was because of the basketball player Mirza Delibasic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirza_Deliba%C5%A1i%C4%87) who was popular in ex-Yugo and especially in Bosnia.
Oddly enough, Mirza Delibasic was buried in an atheist cemetery when he died. So much for the connection between religion and names.
Only stupid Balkan jackasses can judge a person's character and views based upon their name and what religion it 'belongs' to.

I guess my parents looked at Nermin and just said, let's take the N off and see what happens. Cause I don't know that many Ermin's.
I guess except the new member of our NT..Ermin Zec.
