K. Albanians say "neutrality" unacceptable 8 November 2008 A spokesman for Kosovo's president says Priština "does not need a neutral EU mission".
Dzavit Beciri told reporters that Kosovo Albanians want EULEX that will function based on UN envoy Martti Ahtisaari's plan.
"Kosovo does not need a neutral EULEX. That mission is acceptable only in the way in which it was envisaged in the Ahtisaari plan and any other modification is not acceptable for the Kosovo institutions," this spokesman told the local daily Zeri.
Some of the province's leading opposition parties have also spoken against EULEX adopting a "status-neutral" position, according to reports.
They include leaders of the Democratic Alliance of Dardania and the Alliance for the future of Kosovo, Nedzat Daci and Ramush Haradinaj.
Haradinaj said in Priština on Friday that EULEX's neutrality would have "a negative influence on Kosovo's stability".

It's like playing a game and saying the judge shouldn't be neutral... This is lunacy. The Albanians have really gone "a little" crazy, how will this end?

The whole "you're either with us or against us" mentality that Albanian (and Muslim) "nationalists" have is very self destructive. Sooner or later they will realise that all those who they have extorted will turn on them.

UN Resolution 1244 is really biting hard on Pristina, which ever way they turn, there it is smacking them over the head. Bush is gone, Obama has only eyes for the economy and are in no mood to upset Russia at this point. Pristina are now well and truly on their own, and no one is listening.

Pristina are now well and truly on their own, and no one is listening. That's wishful thinking. If it were true, Kosovo wouldn't be recognized by the majority of the industrialized countries and wouldn't receive more than one billion euro in aid from European countries.

Fends the west is taking them for a massive ride and the people are so blinded to realise. Resolution 1244 is the iron gate, why would the west want to go against something in which they had formulated back 1999.

The west is investing so they can rape the region of its mineral wealth and at the same time playing both Albanians and Serbs, but more so with the KLA regime in Pristina.

Pristina is wailing at the impending announcement of neutrality. By the way, this was negotiated with Belgrade, Pristina wasn't even invited for an input.

& The west is investing so they can rape the region of its mineral wealth and at the same time playing both Albanians and Serbs, but more so with the KLA regime in Pristina. get real, if serbs found any mineral wealth during its reign of terror prior to 1389 or from their rule during rankovic's or even during period of 89 to 99, they would've robbed it blind. Hence, if there is any mineral wealth, either serbs were too dumb to know what mineral it was that has value or too lazy to dig it out and keep it for themselves. lol Read the article again. Pristina is wailing at the impending announcement of neutrality. By the way, this was negotiated with Belgrade, Pristina wasn't even invited for an input. LOL...you've already predicted that Kosova would never be separated from serbia, that they would never declare independence, that no nation would recognize it.. now this? Quit while you're ahead before your own head explodes from so many failed predictions of doom for the Albanians.
