If their ears don't mind not being in any international institutions, that's fine.

"I dont think Kosova can hear Russia, its ears are glued towards America and EU..."
They don't have the physical sense to hear, what about the physical feeling of veto?

The vast majority of Int. inst. are useless and powerless anyway, so I dont see the problem with that. So long as the significant institutions(EU and US) and so long as most countries are willing to recognize Kosova. Its fine. Its not like Kosova is looking to become an international player... Kosova issue is out of the UN now anyway. Veto is powerless if nobody puts any significance on the UN. Like I have said before, UN is useless and powerless, nothing more than an institution that simply talks and talks. Look at Israel, when has it listened to the UN and its resolutions?

The issue of Kosovo is firmly entrenched in the UNSC. Why do you think the EU pulled out of sending their mission. First of all, it wasn't sanctioned by the UN. You make me laugh, by thinking that you can ignore al the international conventions and law, that you can get what you want. Time to wake up from the dream state and into reality. Why do you think Ceku decided not to run as Prime Minister anymore. He knew that the case for Kosovo independance was up and now Thaci has the poisened challace. TIME TO WAKE UP.

Haha, the EU wanted to start sending its mission on the 28th of January. They have been stopped in their tracks due to legal reasons. To translate, they could not find any legal means to invade a soverign country called Serbia. You like the rest of us know that when the EU say delay, it means that they can't complete what they set out to do. Their hands are tied because Serbia will not let them in. Pure and Simple.

LOL! Serbia has no power and no presence in Kosova. Absolutely no jurisdiction. Their just looking to write some nice vague document and reason to enter, they will find one, eventually. It may take a while, but they will.

It may take a while, but they will. oh my goodness. You will fall for every propaganda piece thats out there. You do realise that the Serb government has a presence in Kosovo, in the North, remember that. Pristina does not control the North, as a matter of fact Pristina hardly controls anything, the UN are its masters and Thaci has to do what they say, not the other way around. The UN has hardly any say in the North. The Serbs do there as they please.

UNIMK controls the north also. There are no Serb troops there,. It just happens that the population is pro-Serb and listens to Belgrade.

And the rest, you haven't mentioned that they do not follow Pristina in any way, they do not follow UNMIK in any meanigful way. Its common knowledge that they have parallel institutions to Pristina and the Serb government has an office there as well. This proves without a doubt that the KLA don't have any meaningful control and neither does UNMIK in terms of the north.

I believe that its most likely that when Kosova goes free, the Serbian part probably will not, thats the way it seems to be moving. Nevertheless, the statement you made about Serbia controlling the place is wrong, Serbia doesnt have actual control over the territory, UNIMK does. It is the one who makes the real jurisdiction.

To-ska-to, please bear in mind that N.Mitrovica controls the waters that move your generators, and supply power to Kosovo (at least some hours of the day). If the Serbs of N. Mitrovica secede as well and join Serbia then not only will you have a problematic electric power supply but *no* power supply at all. As a matter of fact, it was Serbia that provided you with energy all along while in old Yugoslavia.
But i know, the mines are awaiting to be sold, and then kosovo will become an energy giant, and bla bla bla....

If I'm not mistaken aren't the majority of mines or unused mine resources also in the north.

I saw a greek documentary about kosovo 3 days ago (by a dude who is american citizen and 100% pro-american), and showed that the workers on some mine spoke some form of albanian. i dont know really.
The funny thing is that an officer from the power company said that about 40% of the electricity is ... stolen, and then showed how the kosovars bypass some electric machinery to have some access to power.
The electricity went off during several of the interviews! I mean this thaci spoke in front of the cameras, and suddenly.... blank!!! (thaci kept smiling however under the light of the cameras flashes).
Isnt the west now ruling Kosovo? I wonder that will happen if the albanians there are left to rule themselves!
After this documentary i am not any longer worried about Serbia losing Kosovo.
