The strong are coming [EU mission to Kosovo] (Express) Express reports that investigators and prosecutors of the European Union have start to arrive in Kosovo. According to the paper, their task is to deal with “the big fish” that may be involved in crime and corruption, and they will mainly deal with cases that local judges and prosecutors would not dare to address.
Unnamed sources told the paper that the first arrests are expected to happen soon after these officials start to work. “Yes, there will be numerous arrests of well-known people, including politicians,” a senior official told Express.

Good luck with that. Mafia influence in an underdeveloped region. How can you really expect witnesses to feel safe about testifying, etc.
I would be very curious to see how many people are actually prosecuted and what positions they hold.

It would be interesting to see the outcome of this undertaking. I'd like to see how they handle this mafia.

Are you being sarcastic and saying there is no mafia or are you sincerely interested?
