You didnt say anything about his birthplace but where he lived and walked. Maps change over time my Macedonian brother Would George Washington understand the current map of the US? Would Julius Ceaser understand the current map of Rome? Would Tsar Dusan understand the current map of Serbia? Would Achilles understand the current map of Greece?

Greeks and Fyromaks are tiny tools in the hands of Obama,etc...
Arxilleas, papa Tito's country was a garranty of stability in the region. Scrap papa Tito's federation and oopss... death and destruction everywhere. Ever thought of that? or is the result of the media propaganda so effective that we cant see beyond our nose.
Lets start selling some civilization/products to FYROM and vice versa. Fyromaks are for me one the best ppl in ex-YU, their songs have soul....delicate soul...

Don’t know Pyrros all I see is a clown circus show here, a display of disrespect of the Greek legacy of Alexandros.

No sane Fyromak aged 30 and above believes in this Alex the Great crap. They know they are slavs. However certain powers does not want that to happen. Fyromaks by distancing themselves from Slav-hood and attaching themselves to ancient makedonians, are only harming themselves. Of course our attitude of spasmodic reaction causes more spasmodic counter-reactions etc.. and we end up playing the game of Clinton, Bush, Obama, etc... a game that will only result in war.
Yugoslavs are by far the most civilized and friendly neighbors we have, and that is evident once somebody "DARES" (i.e. overcome the phobias that the media propaganda are feeding us against Fyromaks) to step out of the border.

Pyrros has a point...but at the same time Gruevski is certainly not helping.
They should be called slavo macedonians or novo macedonians or something....and be done with it. But now they are where we were back in 93....acting stupid..and they will " learn "what happens when you get greedy, just like we " learned "...
The greek media has most of the blame for this name issue....they acted like a bunch of idiots back in the early 90's...and they still do..
make no mistake though..this does not equate to the stupidity of fyrom today though...they take the award.

Expat, OBAMA will not let them contain the prefix "slav" in their name. OBAMA wants to create tension, and to make vardarians yet another tool in their hands, all this negotiation thing is a joke.
If Yugoslavia #3 was about to be created, fyromaks would drop all Alex the Great fanfare at once, like the Boslims of BiH would forget alah in order to do some real decent work.
I believe the only way to solve the issue (if there is an issue) is for Yugoslavia #3 to be created. (50-70 years from now i presume).
*THEY* destroyed their country, *THEY* design their foreign relations, *THEY* build their bases in fyromak land.
Its not fair to blame fyromak people, for doing what the rest of ex-yu nations did. Slavs once again were defeated by the Germanics in the 90s, and what we see are the consequences. *THEY* dont want small nations to develop, and if a nation is large (ex-yugoslavs), (ex-USSR) they cut him into pieces in order to be small.
lets stop playing satan's games.

I agree that the breakup of Yugoslavia was an anglo-saxon-germanic initiative all the way. Its a damn shame too though, but I also believe that the ppl of Yugoslavia did not have the will to unite and act as one. Its also known that Tito wanted access to the Aegean and used " macedonia " as a pretext.
I dont think obama cares one way or another, he's got way bigger problems than to spend time w/ fyrom. What the balkans needs right now, is for the place to be divided on ethnic lines and finalized. Its not fair that kosovo is away from serbia and RS is still in BiH... it makes no sense. Fyrom should be eliminated from the map and absorbed by albania, serbia, and bulgaria. Hell, i wouldnt care if nothing went to us...as long as they are gone. They stick out like a sore thumb....

I would love to believe that, but they are so brainwashed right now they dont even know what they are talking about.

Yes, this would be the best solution for sure...to be honest if i was a balkan slav i would want to unite with other slavic countries in the area. I blame religion too for the tension between balkan slavs....which is a result of the turks and islam they brought with them.

Im new here. Any Macedonians in the house? Hi my Bulgarian friend from the geographic region of Macedonia. Do u think Samuel was Macedonian? If you think so please present us with evidence. Would you explain to us the inscription that his nephew Ivan (Ioan) Vladislav left, the so called bitola inscription, in 1015: "In the year 6523 (1015) since the creation of the world, this fortress, built and made by Ivan, Tsar of Bulgaria, was renewed with the help and the prayers of Our Most Holy Lady and through the intercession of her twelve supreme Apostles. The fortress was built as a haven and for the salvation of the lives of the Bulgarians. The work on the fortress of Bitola commenced on the twentieth day of October and ended on the [...] This Tsar was Bulgarian by birth, grandson of the pious Nikola and Ripsimia, son of Aaron, who was brother of Samuil, Tsar of Bulgaria, the two who routed the Greek army of Emperor Basil II at Stipone where gold was taken [...] and in [...] this Tsar was defeated by Emperor Basil in 6522 (1014) since the creation of the world in Klyutch and died at the end of the summer."

its funny how the greeks wqould say anything so that they dont blame the serbs for the "macedonians". guys, you should thank the serbian propaganda in the late 19 century, that was cleverly used by tito. anything else is just lying to yourself. you should just agree here with bulgaria that they are bulgarians, not make tito a saint in love with greece.

Pyrro, i agree with Arxil here infinity percent, they are abusing the greek legacy of Alexander and seeking territory, just look at BigMac's post above. I know you mean well, but take the situation of kosovo for instance, serbia bowed to all their calls (Albanians) just so that a mutual relationship could be formed and look what is happening. Please Pyrro, don't fall into the same trap believing that you need to give and compromise with people who don't favor you. In my opinion you cannot compromise with the vardarians, and any name bearing macedonia within it is a massive mistake.
