I heard a rumour that Alexander the Great was Bisexual. Seems it was 'normal' in those days. There is alot of debate as to whether he was or wasnt. What u people think?

it seems like it
so many times when I hear the stories of Alex, they say he had a relationship with some guy......
I dont know about it being normal, but I think society reacted differently to homosexuality then. You know? The many gay depictions in Greek art etc

So what if he was? Those days were those days. Romans used to have sex with 10 year old boys and girls those days. Does it make the Greco-Roman civilization worthing less... due to the trends of those days..?

And tell me, were there any Bulgarian, Serbian, Romanian...etc...language in that time and any culture as developed as Greek one? After established what to spread (the most developed culture of the moment)...the justification was found as to attack and conquer....so...I have always considered a justification this all of a sudden desire of Alex. to "spread" the culture of the country...which his father and he, himself, conquered!!! (Greece)!
And last, where did the "spread" of Hellenisms consist? Did he build any school of Greek language or did he teach Homer,Parmenides and Heraclites in the countries he conquered?

Wait... that question was a joke right? Teuta, I think your a propagandist and I don't KNOW WHY any of the Greeks here are nice to you. It has me beat. You try to talk real nice, and sweet but your intentions are the same as a thieve or burglars.

Phillip of Macedon establish hegemony over most of Greece, creating the first Pan-Hellenic Empire. Phillip's son Alexander would turn this into the greatest empire the world had yet seen. This fragmented after his death, but at least one successor kingdom (the Ptolemaic) lasted until the death of Cleopatra in 30 BC, when it was annexed by Octavian, better known as Augustus, the first Emperor of Rome.
Do you remember we were explaining this Pan Hellenic Empire to you last time ? We thought you understood it ?.

this was great:

Greek (3000 years old, at least): Typical romian is leventis, meraklis, tsiftis, asikis, xouvardas, ntopros, magkas, vlamis, besalis and kapatsos. Some times he gets to xouzouri and rahati - mahmourlis at divani and looks at tavani. He likes paras, baksisi, kefi and glenti. If he falls in sevdas or dalgas for any dardana (big bela! grusuzi!) and if he hits derti and sikleti he becomes becris and the whole dunia hurts! 25 turkish words, three alb words two italians and one slav.
