I used to own a BMW 735i Executive, 1989 model. Would have to be one of the best cars I had. I shouldn't have sold it! Will be looking for another E32 but the 1994 model with the 4.4 ltr V8. Stock standard it has 210kw and with minor modifications like exhaust and chip, should be able to squeeze close to another 4-50kws. More than enough power for the streets and highway driving. With all reports, the 4.4 has the same economy as the 3.6ltr six, but more torque which is handy around town. did I mention how comfortable they are to drive? Magic cars.

"Do you get constant bubbling through the radiator and/or is the radiator coolant oily in feel and texture and does it overheat. Maybe your heads are slightly warped and the surfaces only need machining." I get leaking oil, when l accelerate i hear ticking noises....you might be right you know. Its an old car what do you expect.......l hope the engine bay is o.k Where's the oil leaking from? The ticking noises are the lifters, probably need replacing. The lifters themselves are not expensive but you will probably need to pull out the cam to get to them as the Buick V6 is still a pushrod engine. This would mean pulling out the radiator as well to make room. I would at the same time pull off the heads and replace the gaskets and any other gaskets from where the oil is leaking. If you co-ordinate this properely it can be done in one day. Are you game Novi.

"The ticking noises are the lifters, probably need replacing." My first car was a commodore VL calais 1988 model, this car had problems with this hydraulic lifters and the noise was so annoying, it sounded like a tractor lol. Its hard to explain the noise l'm getting with my current car, its not really loud, but its kinda also like an electrical noise. "I would at the same time pull off the heads and replace the gaskets and any other gaskets from where the oil is leaking." I completely agree, the gaskets need changing, l think they would cost about 30 bucks right?.....l used to get powersteering fluid leaking from my powersteering well, fixed that but it cost me 300 bucks but its o.k now. "Are you game Novi" Nope lmao

Go Fords ;D No offence, Holden’s are rust buckets Soft valve springs or they need re-adjusting ? "like spark plugs do, you know" There can be many reasons for this. Mercedes “Mercs” are ok BUT they cost $$$ on parts "due to importing costs".
