Why are you guys bashing on Serbian Air Forces. In the very region, they are one of the only 2 nations that has the ability to produce domestic jets. ------------------
Agreed. And even in their current state (which isn't bad mind you) they are probably the strongest (or 2nd strongest) airforce in the Balkans and are modernizing quite rapidly.
Anyways, MORE PICS. Props to Karabin and Skoric for the one's they already posted!

Serbia does not have the ability to produce domestic jets as far as I know.Only sports aircraft/propeller-trainer. And the SOKO factory in Mostar is not operational anymore.
Anyways, it is hard to find any info. but if we are to believe wikipedia there are about 20-25 MIG 21s, and about half of them are flyable. There is a rather impressive number of Mi-8s, 20-30, but wiki says only 3-4 are able to fly, and that it is being considered getting around 12 new Mi-17 from Russia.
Albania operated with a P. R. of China clones of the MiG - 21 until a couple of years ago, when one of the planes crashed at Tirana airport. Apparently something about using this and that fuel. Albania had a decent Air force back in the day, but now it only operates helicopters.
the S F R J never got around to replace it huge MIG-21 fleet with MIG-29s, and SOKO Mostar was supposed to build a new fighter aircraft that looks like a hybrid of the JAS Gripen and F-16.
Non of the air forces in the region are honestly worth much, so please refrain from insulin each other, when you/we are all rather bad at the moment.

^ Why are you guys bashing on Serbian Air Forces. In the very region, they are one of the only 2 nations that has the ability to produce domestic jets. I don't see Albania even owning MiG-21's, let alone MiG-29's. You should STFU while you're ahead, and not let the jealousy in your head seep through your face. Do you even know what a Jet is kiddo? Sportplanes dont count as Jets. And those MIG are from Yugo time, its not they bought it later, they took them when Yugo collapsed, go make some homework kiddo. Your making Croats look stupid. Secondly, Im from Kosova not Albania but who cares same country.

Very good pictures, now a question did the army uniform change after the break up with Crna Gora, or they stayed pretty much the same?

I know that Serbian Mig 29's where sent to Russia last year for upgrades costing 12mil and have been participating in multinational exercises as part of the partnership for peace program. As far as manufacturing I really dont know and I am sure MIG will be able to answer that question.

Im surprised Russia didnt donated to Serbia any MiG's since they will give Lebanon 10 MiG-29.

Well Mig did mention the capability of producing Jets I dont think he said Serbia does produce Jets. However saying that I found a PDF online that was encouraging others to invest in Serbian Aero industry this is from 2004 I dont know how it eventuated.
Im surprised Russia didnt donated to Serbia any MiG's since they will give Lebanon 10 MiG-29.
The question is how many can a state afford to run ? and how many do you realisticly need ? Serbia does have upgraded Mig 29's so its no suprise.

^ In all honesty, Serbia should be damn proud that NATO didn't want to risk "Major Casualties" by going into the rest of Serbia. Had that been the case, they would have lost some huge numbers.

"Modernized Serbian T-72 (pic is a little too big)"
No No, a upgrade of the M-84, which not exactly a carbon copy of the T-72. I mean yes it uses the same chassis and turret but the inside of the M-84 is different, it came with western electronics, targeting computer etc. The M-84 is superior to the T-72, at least the barebones export models the Soviets gave out to other countries. The new M-84 upgrade will pretty much get most of what the T-72 gets in its upgrade to T-90 status and will come with the nifty Shtora ATGM system.
"^ In all honesty, Serbia should be damn proud that NATO didn't want to risk "Major Casualties" by going into the rest of Serbia. Had that been the case, they would have lost some huge numbers."
I’m impressed with the Serbs deception and camouflage operation during the war, it was very professional and effective. Of course it came in handy to have a large stockpile of WWII T-34's and Sherman’s to use as decoys, but the use of tank props and fighter props was also very good. This strategic and tactical deception was worked out by the JNA many years ago, knowing that they would face overwhelming enemy air superiority, it was vital that the enemies aircraft should be fooled as much as possible in taking out decoys. They knew NATO would operate from high altitude in order to avoid the thick integrated air defense network, so the chances of successfully employing decoys improved significantly.
Considering the very small deployment zone of the Serbian third army and MUP forces in Kosovo it's amazing the Serb military losses in Hardware and Personnel were as minimal as they were, considering the number of sorties launched against them.
However you can't decoy bridges, power plants, airports, factories and railways, so the infrastructure suffered immense damage.

Yeh to bad alot of civilians had to die because of that. And also i dont get why they had to use those un-exploding uranium bombs that look like toys that attracted kids.
