I think that Balkans should also have its own version of eurovision but only far more authentic and with far more emphasis on local culture versus mimicking westerners and preferably always in local language.
01.Slovenia 02.Croatia 03.Bosnia 04.Serbia 05.Montenegro 06.FYROM 07.Albania 08.Greece 09.Cyprus 10.Turkey 11.Bulgaria 12.Romania 13.Moldova 14.Hungary
(might even expand to include some kind of guest countries that somehow gravitate towards Balkans such as Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan which would make the number at 19).
Numbers are certainly big enough

Considering that these countries rarely contribute their own folk music to Eurovision this could be a pretty good idea. I personally find folk music interesting and having this type of event would allow me to actually see some other folk music, which I otherwise wouldn't be exposed to. Otherwise it's not like I'm going to go out of my way to try and listen to some Albanian music for instance.

if there was balkan version of eurovision, serbia, croatia, bih or montenegro wud keep winning, since they can understand each other's languages & so that they can share many part of their popular cultures. greece also cud be very succesful country.
