I've always said we're the closest to each other, contrary to what some here like to believe, or shall we say cousins. Sucks that the relations between our countries have not been good so far, but they're getting better as far as I can see.

The chart show nothing. That is from an archaic lexicon based not on regular Albanian, but on Arvanitika... which has a significant amount of Greek loanwords... for instance nobody in Albania says Dhaskal today unless he is some grekochit... we say mesues (from mesosh -- to learn).

Its not arvanitika from southern Greece, its Botsaris' lexico... The cleansing that Hoxha's state may have done to your language doesn't say anything... dhaskal papathodhoraqi.... ;D
