Disa e shtyjne edhe me larg, ne trekendshin Shkup-Nish-Sofje, duke na lidhur me thrakasit.
As kjo nuk qendron.
Vetem me 1595 nje qytetar shqiptar pranonte kombesine e tij; ishte nje Mark Gjini.

Emertimi i vjeter Thyamis eshte shpjegimi me bindes.

Edhe pse une mendoj se këto studime mund të jen shum problematike për Sllavët ... nuk dua të zgjutna me konkluzione. disa fotografia : www.visit-ulcinj.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=23The Albanians has been recorded by Anna Comnena as "The people who live around Durrës" ! Where do you think that Durrës is ? In Kosova ?! NO , IN THE ADRIATIC COASTS ! WE DIDN'T SURVIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS BUT NEAR THE COASTS ! NOTHING WAS LATINIZED IN ILLYRIA !

Actually, most of Illyria was Latinized. Remember that Illyria was a vaste territory stretching from Albania to the Alps in the north. Dalmatia was thoroughly Latinized, for instance, and a local Latin speech did survive there until the 19th century, when its last speaker died. Only in Albania did a pre-Roman identity/language survive and re-emerge. But even there, you have traces of Latin-speaking populations (still do i.e. the Vlachs). Toponyms prove this, like Oblika, Patosi, Valbona, Shutreja (sub terrae), Vinjalle (Vinealis) and so on. Alot of villages are named Vilë or Filë throughout the country, from Latin villa (country house). But this element was mostly restricted to urban centres and the lowlands.
On the other hand, the proto-Albanians, although primarily pastoralists, must've had continuous contact with the lowlands and cities (w'ere speaking of the Roman period here, not the Middle Age, where Albanians were to be found in all urban centres of the country) and the Latin-speaking population of the cities. Loan words confirm this ... some were oprobably even inhabitants in the towns, or in lowland villages, where after their service in the Roman army they would've been granted estates in the lowlands.

Where did you think that the Illyrian tribe of the Albani live ? In Kosova(Dardania) ? No , near Durrës(Dyrrachios) ! GOOD MORNING !

I haven't argued against that. Read my above post and you will see that. Onomastic studies prove our continuity in our present day territories, including the area of Durres. But there was a Latin element present as well, mostly Romanized locals, which explains the presence of Latin toponymy as well as loan words in our language. Their concentration was probably along the more urbanized coast.

But the Romanians speaks a Latin language !
