No eagble was on any official Albanian state flag until June of 1912, and the current design of the eagle on August 8, 1929. Look at the flag section. While Montenegro's eagle firast appeared on an official flag on a red background in 1861. Look at the flag sections. www.worldstatesmen.org/Montenegro.htmlwww.worldstatesmen.org/Albania.htm

That's fine. But Albania's flag has roots in 1444. It was Skanderbegs coat of arms.
The eagle on the national flag of Albania has 25 feathers, which symbolizes the 25 successful years of Skanderbeg's struggle against the Ottoman armies. Montenegro's flag has been tri-color for most of its history.

Historeicxally Montenegro's flag was a white cross on a red background [pre-dating the Swiss use of this and nthe cross was of a different style.]
