The offical announcement is expected today before lunch (european time). Macedonia still has a chance of getting an invitation. Lets not jump to conclusions. Lets wait and see how far Greece is willing to go ... i personally doubt that it has the balls to deny Macedonia membership.

Besides, having Makedonija left out of the loop will mean instability to the region, or a shift in Alligence (CIS/SCO).

for greece to deny macedonia membership is evil. macedonia deserves NATO membership. I think that evil was to use a ridicolous myth for claiming another people heritage and lands. And I also think that by doing so, it didn't deserved NATO membership. Neither EU...

I wish the Bulgarian government had such a firm stand but all they do is watch from aside and still take the abuse by the FYROM authorities about how Bulgaria's sole purpose is supposedly to screw with them and steal their Medieval history. Im all up for international integration and co-operation but doing so by leaving issues under the carpet is not very wise.

i agree with bb681. we should ve backed greece on this. our blood brothers in fyrom rewrite our medievil history before our eyes too. good that inteligent people know ancient macedonians were greeks and that fyrom people were pure bulgarians till 1945.

We were rivals in the medievil times, we are allies now. Get over it. Just remember the last eurovision and u d get the true feelings of both people to each other.

Nothing. Terro can not accept the simple fact that our two countries have started to respect each other and look for the positive moments in their relations instead of the usual Balkan crap who killed who, when and why.

Well, History is GREAT to study but it cannot (and shouldn't) dictate our lives today.

That is what I mean too. We shouldn't always go back to times before and point out the bad moments. Present day is what matters.
