A new better museum in Macedonia, Greece for the Macedonian history would have been better, it’s a much more richer / worthy history then the Athenian one imo, what would Greece be without Mega Alexandros's legacy today........... ?

Yeah ok.. Athens and Acropolis should have been promoted. That is why the National Archeological Museum.. the best in Greece is in Athens. That is why you see Epidavros, Mikines, Olympia and all the ancient places in South Greece are FULLY restored. But dont you find it weird Kanaris that in the birthplace of Macedonian Era.. nothing is moving forward? - Thessaloniki has a very old Archeological Museum... where 50% of findings are on the basement due to... the lack of space!! -Dont you find it weird that Pella is still in ruins and looks like a harvest field? -Dont you find it weird that Amphipolis and the Lion of Amphipolis are like a harvest field too? -There is NOT ANY promotion of these places. There are even no good signs to guide you there if you're foreigner. Some small signs.. who help mainly the locals... Its all about Athens... thats the problem. We all know everything about the Marbles of Parthenon in the British Museum.... but I doubt there is a Greek.. non-Macedonian that know about "Las Incantadas"! Our Roman version of Parthenon.. that is in Louvre Museum..now.. forgotten there and not mentioned at all.. Not only the statues (our Karyatides!).. but the whole Temple is there! Our ONLY ancient temple inside the city. But.. what the hell... lets try to bring some more marbles for the Atheneans..... forget Macedonians... afterall who are they? They have just conquered all the known world.. nothing so important.. salpistis.blogspot.com/2007/12/incantadas.htmlwww.flickr.com/photos/gichristof/3531845748/www.flickr.com/photos/gichristof/3531845368/travel.nytimes.com/travel/guides/europe/greece/thessaloniki/28301/greek-agora-and-roman-forum/attraction-detail.html

Its not only in the field of archeology that everything is about Athens...I hate Athens. I really abhor it. Of course I feel familiar to it to some extent being the capital of Greece...but the injustice that Thessaloniki as a town that has 1000 times more potential than gypsy and arvanite Athens-village...is insufferable. I hate Athens, its not worth being a capital. And keep in mind that when it was made the capital...it wasnt thought to remain it forever...it was just...temporarily...until Constantinople got recaptured.

I too think they are, but the experts should know better. Like this, you can see the statues 3D, and view it around.
