I recently lost my respect for the Greek people here on this forum. No good person, with a good heart, and a good character would ever agree and zealously support the punishing of innocent people, the ethnic cleansing a whole ethnicity. I thought there was a chance prior to that revelation. I don't think there is. Not condemning what happened in the past is just a step away from repeating it in the future. While we should look to a better future and better relations; such future and such relations are not possible with people who support past ethnic cleansing. This has nothing to do with being anti-Greek. It has to do with being against any type of human rights violations no matter the circumstances and always adhering to those principles. As such I believe that the vast majority of Greek people here are unprincipled when it comes to human rights ( as a result of supporting ethnic cleansing).

How many people from Asia minor came to mainland "Greece" then? about 1,5 mio and it had 4,5 mio natives at this time. Rexo the birth rate of the other Greeks was very high as well.....it has nothing to do with Asia Minor origins. My grandmother from Epirus had 6 siblings...my grandfather from Asia Minor...5. And then again my grandmother gave birth to 6 children...while my gramp had only 2 children. This makes 4 more humans for the natives in comparison to the migrants.

You know, an average Greek doesn't care about Albanians at all, its an internet thing... I think that what happens is that Albos touch Greeks' filotimo, if you know what it means...something like besa...because especially from the Albos who are not living in Greece there isn't a sign of thankfulness for the many hundreds of thousands immigrants that were accepted here and despite the not bad economic aftermath caused great troubles that only we know. Greek society seemed relatively very hospitable...Send 1.000.000 Alvanous immigrants in Sweden and then come and tell that I'm wrong... Ask any Albo here, who have lived long time here in Greece, ask Mendor, if the ,majority of the Greeks hadn't treat him well, of course with some exceptions. Its true though that the most antigreek guys here are those who we call tourkalvanous...and I ...wonder...why? wheres my trophy Patrinos ? I'll order some things of that you sell on youtube... ;D PS. And the Mikrasiates Greeks were much more europeans in all ways from every malok...

Yeah 1/3 of Greece is mainland 2/3 is anatolian pop. that were invited to come. Like i said the urban civil Greeks such as Bibleriot. I think there is a chance of cooperation there. Such people are our closest kin. I would say. The trouth is... that Anatolian Greeks... were Mainland Greeks before they go to the colonies of the East.. So... speaking about real genes.. they're both mainlanders with some thousand of years gap.. Also... you know.. they were not exactly.. "invited".. The sea of Smyrni in Asia Minor was red from the blood... About the urban civil Greeks who had to have interaction with villager Albanians which is the biggest percentage.. what you have to say about... this experience..? It is what I was saying in my posts. The problem is not between Greeks and Albanians. The problem is between Greeks in the cities and Albanian villagers who came in the Greek cities from isolated ex-Hotza villages. What a combination eh?

That's not a good thing either. Two wrongs don't make a right. Stop with the BS justifications. Its as clear as day. No ethnic cleansing is ever justified; never.

NOBODY SAYS IS JUSTIFIED! We just say that in order that unjustice to happen.. some more unjust things have happen before. Its a series of unjust things. Chams is just the closest event and that is why we talk about it. Before that event.. other unjust events took place... and guided to this unjust event. its a series of things.. and in order the last event not to happen... Albs had to "fight" also the unjust of the Greeks before... and this way they could prevent the last unjust. In other worlds... when Sultan was giving free land to Chams just because they were Muslims and was letting Christians to die for starvation... that time.. Albanians had to say "No it not fair"... and this way they could prevent the next "unfair" move of the opposite site.. Its a series of unfair actions. Why to speak only about the last one on some specific innocent Chams.. only? Why not for all the series of all unfair events in that region?

Being a neighbor which was better off economically; it should've played a different role. A much more mature rule when it came to dealings with the Balkans. Instead the role Greece played was pathetic. The obstructions during Kosovo war. The condemnation of Albanian immigrants by the media and social circles. The bad relationship with Fyrom. Sounds like the actions of an EU member country? A childish role with religious and nationalist rhetoric. That's why Greece will never be a leader in the Balkans.
