I thought that Metohi(j)a in greek meant "Church's Land". The original Greek metochoi (μέτοχοι) is for members of a convent, i.e., monastery, in other words monks, from which metoh was generalized in some Slavic languages to mean small church or monastery. Metohija does mean "Land of churches/monasteries" in Serbian. But the root is Greek, unlike the case for Kosovo, whose root kos is Slavic.

Thats a pretty stupid question. The Serboi were Sarmatian. Really? Prove it.
