Just to let Terro and the rest of the Albanians really know, the Serbs are our true brothers and we shall always stand by them. I agree that Montenegro has in some aspects a connection with some Albanians[Highland], but by far and away our true borthers are the Serbs. I would even say the Croats and Slovenes are closer to Montenegrins than Albanians.
Sorry Terro, i don't mean to offend you, but thats about how 90% of Montenegrins feel.

Funny sense of kinship, considering that Montenegro seceeded. I only wish my people had the same opportunity to decide on to join Albania or remain an independent country.
Terroreign, why do you have to be such a child? Families in Montenegro are split among considering themselves Serb or Montenegrin (with blood brothers taking one side or the other). Montenegrins voted to stay with Serbia in 1992 and shared a common state with them for most of a century. Serbian leaders have had Montenegrin roots more often than not. The current President of Montenegro, Vujanovic, was born and raised in Belgrade. Belgrade is probably the most Montenegrin city, while Serbs are the biggest 'minority' in Montenegro. A common language is spoken (or at least incredibly similar) and a common church is shared (most of Montenegro still follows SPC). Actual wars have been fought with Albanians that united all Montenegrins, while Serbia and Montenegro have participated in nearly every war on the same side and in an alliance.
What things do Montenegrins actually share with Albanians that are stronger than those?
You obviously don't know history then... the kind of close, brotherly relationship that was fostered by the Petrovic dynasty... or the hostilities, wars and mistrust that have been had with Albanians... a Montenegrin having Albanisn in his family, such as yourself, is the exception in Montenegro... however, having Serbs in your family is the norm for every Montenegrin
Even Marko Miljanov, probably the only Montenegrin who has a positive view of Albanians, considered Serbs the true brothers. Here are some quotes:

YOU are the one unknowledgable of history, for you exaggerate the parts that you find suitable, and hide the parts you don't!
„Dragi brate Srbine, da si ima prilike i da si gleda junake, koje sam ja gleda, ne bi ti dalo srce mira doklen se ne bi ozva junacima koji veselo mru za svoje i svija nas pravo...”
This was from Miljanov's book on Albanians, the "junake" he's speaking of are Albanians.
Now if you were just quoting this because he said "srbine", which I know you did, you must understand that in his time the term "srbin" was interchangeble with the word "pravoslavac"
The term had no ethnic sense to it among Montenegrins, instead a purely religious one.
"Ako ga pitas sto je po vjeru, Crnogorac ce reci da je 'Srbin', a ako ga pitas sto je po narodnosti, rekne da je 'Crnogorac'." - Josef Holecek, 1876
Now back to business:
Even Marko Miljanov, probably the only Montenegrin who has a positive view of Albanians
He wasn't the only one, Njegos, King Nikola, Vladar Danilo I, all had positive views of the Albanians.
Not to mention Ivan Crnojevic, one of his wifes being an Albanian princess.
Heres what Njegos has to say about our brother Albanians:
"Arbanasi silni nasrnuli, željni glavah, a željni oružja, željni pljačke, a željni plijena, i bog znade"
How ironic of you to say, when you clearly the one exaggerating parts of history that you find suitable, while ignoring the parts that do not suit you. After all, you are arguing that Albanians are historically bigger brothers to Montenegrin than Serbs. What historian would support your view? Not one.
Josef Holacek (whoever the fuck he is) is no authority on what Montenegrin's felt. Prine Danilo's code is much more authoritative i would think.
Why have you ignored the other Marko Miljanov quote:
„Ne udri brata Srbina, Crnogorče, crn ti obraz ka ti i jest, mimo braće.”
We are talking about Serbs and Montenegrin being brothers here, not about Albanians being brave, so don't change the topic.
Yes. We are brothers; both genetically, historically, physically, and culturally; not to mention almost very Serb has some roots in Montenegro (the ancient epicenter of the Serbian states). We don't have to be in the same country to recognize the obvious: We are brethren.

Josef Holacek was a Czech writer and slavic historian And a more reliable source than all of yours combined.
Prince Danilo's code says no where about serbs being our brothers or anything of that nature, but a serb writer took a copy of it and added a part about being in the "serbian nation", which proves serbs have been falsifying history.
Since the original in Cetinje does not mention it, yet the copies in Novi Sad do
Many historians would support my view that Albanians were more friends to the Montenegrins than the Serbs. This comes from basic knowledge of the tribal society in Montenegro.
Danilo I wished for the Albanian villages to join in a political union with the Montenegrins, this is not something enemies would do!
OK maybe Njegos was talking about some bad Albanians from a rival tribe, who knows.
Heres another.
“Grmi vatra, da oči ispadnu, pala živa muka na junake: množ Turčina, malo Crnogorca, Arbanasi krvavi junaci, ne daju se lako potisnuti.”
- Petar II Petrovic Njegos, Kula Djurisica 1847
