I think you might want to suspend his account until he changes his ways ? Not only has he put the signature back but also has changed his user name to "Macedonia" personally this one is here to irritate us "piss in our eyes" nothing more.

you can't just ban someone because you don't like him, stop being such girls, people insult each other on a daily basis here, why should his case be different?

And to me...what that assbag is doing is pure provocation. So get him the hell out of here and have him go back to makfax or whatever the hell his cult group goes and hangs out @

Well, I think this is nonsense when you consider some of the sigs used by my fellow Greeks here. Archi's sig is instigating to some, I am sure. But no one on the forum of Greece's northern neighbor ever said anything about it. Maybe I can fix that.

Oh my God. You are so confused. You are Greek, so stop hiding your Greekness behind another name. It's appalling and weak. End it now!

you comparing politics with ethnic slander ? Negative. Instigation is instigation, no matter how you look at it. If some non-Greek uses a sig that offends some weak ones, it is deleted? Come on. You guys are so silly.

G"S open your eyes, this is your flag; Not were you only calling your self's Ex-Yugoslavs back in early 1990's you didn't know what the star of Vergina "Macedonian symbol" was untill after the Thessaloniki protest by the Greeks. Check this out, protest for human rights in Greece Toronto1990. Notice what is missing ? My signature is indeed as chalkedon said a political statement to what will happen if Fyrom continues not to compromise. .

I can not wait to click on the delete button. You guy’s do regardless no matter what the situation, even when you were a Mod along with the others at the Fyromian forum at Aadmins other forum “network54” some 10 pages deleted, meaning 500 plus topics gone in a week and are being deleted to this day by the current Mods “two topics got deleted the other day reason not stated"… Care to explain why they would still do this even no rules broken asking you since you may understand them ? .

Cmon guys chill. You have all these vorio epirus flags here and that's fine while a lil macedonian flag has you so disturbed? Don't be party poopers now. If some of you guys like provoking and allowing people among you to have provocative flags then you should have no problem if others provoke you. Oooops, I forgot this is the Greek forum, hence double standards are the norm here. No one has a Northern Epirus flag as signature...but even if...Northern Epirus flags are clearly a Greek invention while the Vergina sun is not and at that it has never been a symbol of slav peoples. Its a Macedonian symbol, therefore a Greek symbol and may only be used by Macedonians, thus Greeks. Of course its a fussy behaviour but the name issue is too prevailing at the moment. I find it interesting that from all Europe's ancient nations have merged new ones, except for the FYROMIANS who call them selves Macedonian and you guys call your selfves "Greeks". It seams that after all you guys fallow the same history pattern, just like new macedonians claiming ancient heritage, you feel the right to own any of the ancient heritage, therefore with great jealousy you try to protect any of those macedonian-hellenic symbols. Lately it's been hard to convince Fyromians on their bullgarian origin just as its hard to convince greeks that they are mish mash of different nations.

You cannot scrutinize your identities like you do with the Greek identity because it simply will not stand up to the same scrutiny. Lately it's been hard to convince Fyromians on their bullgarian origin just as its hard to convince greeks that they are mish mash of different nations. Let's examine what Anthony D. Smith says, he is one of most important worldwide contemporary scholars of ethnology similar of Hobsbawm, Gellner and Anderson. He is Editor-in-Chief of the scholarly journal Nations and Nationalism (Cambridge University Press) and is the author of many books on the subject including his "classic" The Ethnic origins of Nations. He is a former student of the lnown philosopher and anthropologist Ernest Gellner, but did not share his view of nationalism in the long run. He created an approach of nationalism he called ethnosymbolism, which is a synthesis of modernist and traditional views on the subject. Let’s see what Smith says…. But his genetic and physical inference from cases of ethnic durability cannot account for the considerable variability, wide range and frequent absorptions and dissolutions of instances of ethnic affiliation, and the fact that many ethnies have undergone large-scale changes of culture and, in some cases, of demography. This is the case even in such a culturally long-lived example as the Greeks, where undoubted evidence of massive rupture of demographic continuity by the influx of Albanians and Slavs on the Greek mainland from the sixth to eighth centuries AD and of considerable, though not complete, culture change after the conversion to Orthodoxy, call into question the continuity and influence of a common ancient Greek biological and genetic inheritance on modern Greeks. [Nationalism and Modernism, 2003, page 150]Greeks, Armenians, Jews, Persians, Chinese and Japanese could be cited as examples of ethnic continuity, since, despite massive cultural changes over the centuries, certain key identifying components—name, language, customs, religious community and territorial association—were broadly maintained and reproduced for millennia.
