our friends from Bulgaria could help on this issue...
First, the new president Borisov says he's gonna cancel the South Stream pipeline deal... (that favors ofcourse Turkey/ US and Nabouco pipeline and Bulgaria plus Greece plus Russia play no role in the energy sector any more..)
Second, he said in an interview to Turkish Media that with his new plans.. Bulgaria-Turkey friendship can be a role model for other Balkanians...
Is it something going wrong with this guy.. or not? He plays exaclty the role US wants from Bulgaria to play..

"Slavic snake" is not so smart expression. If only Nabuco exists to bring energy in Europe... means Europe is exclusively depent on American will. If South Stream brings also energy.. then we have equilubrium and that is what Europe needs.
Also, South Stream has 100 times more energy supplies than Nabuco. Europe needs it.
Third, South Stream helps Bulgaria and Greece being the hot spot of that energy. Nabuco lives them outside the hot spots.
According to me.. he must have taken huge amount of money from Americans to express these views..

Don't worry, guys. Borisov is not a man who will favour Turks.

This is not about ballance Basil, you know it. This is Greece panicking at the thought of getting left out of the loop. The Fyromians and Albanians are part of the US financed project. Greece fears it would be left out. Cut the balance crap out of the discussion. Its all about money.

I think both projects would be made. This way we ll get oil from 2 alternative places and the January crisis with the Russian oil will never happen again.

The question is about profit. Bulgaria's profit is to have 2 pipelines... 2 reserves of energy... 2 ways to play... Why to choose only one? Its not smart for the profit of Bulgarian people.. unless its good for the profit of the Bulgarian's PM household..

The Bulgarians worry me at times, but at the end of the day everybody wants pipelines running through there country so they have a power in all of this. I said few months ago that Bulgaria is well placed *geographically*, so is turkey.
