I heard about North Africa this year having abounded crop production this year. While most places are suffering crop loses, especially North America. The Sahara historically has been the wettest 8-10,000 years ago. By looking at this graph we can see that period was cooler than today. That's temperatures hovering around 15 C, which is cooler than the 20th century warming period. Is this a sign we are diving downwards in temperatures? Probably. No sun no fun.
