Yup, times are changing. Today a Turkish TV show is one of the most popular shows in Kosova and restaurants and businesses in Tirana and Durres are bein named after holiday spots in that country. Just recently a Turkish television host had a presentation in Albania with over 5000 people showing up. Times are in fact changing, we are making up lost time. The isolation and propaganda of Hoxha is over, now we can see people as they truly should be seen, not behind myths and historical legends, but reality. That means nothing. People also watch Italian television. And Tirana is not whole of Albania. There's also the southern part of the country (riviera). Keta myslimanet radikal e kane mbajt mbrapa Shqiperine.

Which is where philoTurk raised me is from... what does that say. We Bektashis in the south are a little more anti-Ottoman because we were persecuted by them, but I still dont notice much of a difference in thought.

Let me give u an example. In the song Mujo and Halil, the northern Albanian epic poem... Mujo and Halil are famous for what? Pillaging Christian territories ('Kingdom of the Christians'). In the southern Albanian song Ymer Aga (although it takes place in Ulcin), what does Ymer do? Pillage a generic faraway Christian country.

What does a few epic fantasy stories have to do with anything. Mujo and Halil most likely were some broke-ass villagers who couldn't feed their own families.

There's also the southern part of the country (riviera). The southern the better... ;D In terms of economic prosperity you are right, Patrinos.
