Gradi se prvi islamski centar u Budimpešti Subota, 01 Avgust 2009 15:17 Dalila Vijesti iz svijeta Lokalna vlast odbila dati saglasnost za gradnju minareta, jer je visina od 30 metara limit na novim građevinama u Budimpešti Gradski vijećnici Budimpešte dali su "zeleno svjetlo" za izgradnju prvog islamskog centra u ovom gradu, piše danas lokalni dnevnik "Nepszabadsag". Projekt će biti realizovan uprkos protivljenju lokalnog stanovništva, prenosi list. U Mađarskoj trenutno živi 30.000-50.000 muslimana, koji su prinuđeni da molitve i druge vjerske obrede obavljaju u stanovima. Islamska Karitativna i mirovna fondacija (Charity and Peace Foundation) kupila je 2005. godine plac u budimpeštanskom 11. distriktu, na kojem planira izgradnju velikog kulturnog i religijskog centra, sa odgovarajućom bibliotekom. Za ovaj projekat je bilo potrebno načiniti izmjene u gradskoj legislativi, međutim, lokalni savjet je odbio dati saglasnost za gradnju minareta, jer je visina od 30 metara limit na novim građevinama u mađarskoj prijestonici.

^lol...I actually like driving past them here in Aus...having a peep in 'em every now and then and it's super when I can practice my Croatian language with the followers makes me even more happier...:-)

Dont worry though they don't have real mesdzid but as i see muslim community is present everywhere there too www.islamska-skupnost.si/medzlisi And not Slovenia is the only EU country without a "real mosque", i think there arent any in Slovakia, Latvia and maybe Estonia too
