Turkish Man Pays BGN 26 000 for Seeing Madonna's Sofia ConcertA Turkish citizen who came to Madonna's concert in Sofia Saturday night was detained at the Bulgaria-Turkey border as he was leaving the country. It turned out that the man owed the Bulgarian state corporate taxes amounting to BGN 26 000 (€13000), and had been banned from leaving the country. He was not stopped upon entering Bulgaria on the way to Madonna's concert. About a year ago the Turkish citizen started a business in the Targovishte District in Northeast Bulgaria. He left for Turkey before paying his taxes, and thus the National Revenue Agency placed a ban on him leaving Bulgaria. The NRA Directorate in Targovishte said there were two similar cases with Turkish citizens at the beginning of 2009 when they came to visit the casinos in Sofia, and were then detained at the border. The combined amount they owed to the Bulgarian state, and had to pay, was BGN 46 000. www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=107363

I was very near the stage, I think she sang live all the time, but she had back up singers who helped her on certain songs. It was amazing, she didnt stop dancing for 2 hours. I do not think anyone does this or can do this.

Yeah, yeah, time to change the remaining 1/4 of Bulgarian words in Romanian as you did with the rest 1/2 two centuries ago.

I do not think anyone does this or can do this. i too was near the stage, and everyone around me that i was with also commented on the fact that you could tell when she was really singing. A person can't run around like that for 1.5 hours and sing like they haven't moved an inch for the whole time. The back-up singers are a completely different story. I was expecting a better concert.

For the time being I am here until July of 2010. If all goes well, it may be for longer.
