Bulgaria PM on Mitrova: I Am Speechless about Justice in FyromBulgaria's PM Borisov (left) at the military drills in Novo Selo Thursday. Photo by BGNES Bulgaria’s Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, vowed to help Macedonian with Bulgarian passport, Spaska Mitrova, any way he could. Mitrova was released Thursday from the prison in Skopje in advance for good behavior. More information READ HERE. “I am ready to do for Spaska Mitrova whatever she wants. I am happy about her, that she was released but I just have no words about the Macedonian justice system,” Borisov declared. Recently, Bulgaria’s Diaspora Minister, Bozhidar Dimitrov, said the government was ready to grant Bulgarian citizenship to Mitrova’s family because her relatives felt threatened. The abuse and suits against the woman started soon after she was granted Bulgarian citizenship at the beginning of 2009 on the bases of proving her Bulgarian origin.According to Dimitrov and other Bulgarian officials, the connections between the two things is clear, and Mitrova is prosecuted with such ferocity because the Macedonian authorities wanted to send a clear message to the other Macedonians seeking Bulgarian citizenship. www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=108646.

What the fck is that.. granting citizenship to show these ppl are ethnicaly Bulgarians. Im Makedionia they just abuse that thing for personal interests - possibility to move freely to EU, no work permits, no visa.. only for benefits and advantages, of course. And the stupid bulgarian ministers think they are doing something, saying they will "do everything to help" this and that person.. They create intrigues and spectacular theater to show to media and other citizen.

There are people in fyrom that do feel Bulgarian. I know you can not understand it because you do not want to be a Bulgarian (although you are 100 percent Bulgarian), but that is the reality.

So up to you defending your own citizens is a theatre? You are really a helpless case.

It seems to be a political move concerning the Macedonian ethnicity, primarily to justify a Bulgarian interest. I am not clear about a few factors concerning this issue. If she asked for it, then it was her choice, and the Macedonians should honor that instead of allegedly persecuting her and her family. If she applied for the Bulgarian citizenship just to receive benefits, then I would question her character. Whatever the reason, the Bulgarian government used this to again push their sick propaganda concerning the Macedonians.

Of course, if she is (and feels like) real Bulgarian, then Mk should respect that. But the issue here is, most of them apply just to gain personal benefits and because the stupid Bulgarian gvt grants them citizenship in every possible way. Tell me, do Makedonian gvt give citizenship to Bulgarians like that?! There is so called "Minister without portfolio" in the new BG government who's taking care of the "Bulgarians abroad".. And his name is Bozidar Dimitrov (bulgarian historian), who in my oppinion is assigned with the purpose "Makedonia".
