Italy and Turkey are making huge investments in AlbaniaOctober 11, 8:57 PMNY Economy and Politics Examiner Sahit Muja Italy and Turkey have increased investment in Albania in recent years. Last year Turkish companies invested close to $1 billion dollars in Albania. The Albanian government reports that Italian companies have increased investment there by more than 500% in the last 2 years. Italy and Turkey are the top foreign investors in Albania. Mashalla Turkey. Some of my friends' parents have made some recent investments in Albania. Turkey's Balkan policy has seriously altered in these past few years. 10 years ago investment from Turkey was unheard of and Turkey's involvement in the Balkans was slight. Now the interest in "ex-Ottoman Balkans" (Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo alongside Macedonia) has risen tremendously.

WTF ! Skenderbeg with a mosque in the background ?! from another view it would be the Orthodox church, but that's an ugly building looks like a bunker....and the Saint Paul's Catholic church can barely be seen from the square. as for Turkish investments, they are over-emphazised in the article. They are more than Greece's though. Italians, German and Austrians are the true investors

No offense, but I do not think a Greek has a right to comment on aspects of Albanian culture. We have our side you have yours. Do you see me bothering you when you go off on how great Serbs are and how much you support them?

www.examiner.com/x-20010-NY-Econo....ents-in-AlbaniaIn this link there are some funny comments; patriotes says: ha ha ha...the 8-th military division of epirus in Greece is ready to protect 600 thousand northern epiriotes in every moment... sokrates says: annyway the southern albania is to come back immediately from Skumbini river to Northern epirus grecce after kosovo and albania to sign national refferendum. karamanlis said that: "3 billion euro are ivesting in northern epirus for our conpatriotes'". On the topix ;The Albanian government reports that Italian companies have increased investment there by more than 500% in the last 2 years. ;D ;D ;D Italy have been number 1 investor for albania since 1992 they are the only country in europe that really cares about albania. turkey is not a modern or europian country , should love to see germany to invest more in albania they build the tirana internacinal airport and did a great job something that coutrys like turkey can never do.

Im sure the Otranto victims would agree with you... Pfft. Italians caring about Albanians, does that explain their close relations with Serbia today? Or the racism Albanians face in Italy?
