With the recent Ramadan activities, the renovation of Islamic architecture in Albania and increased involvement in Bosnia, it seems Turkey is relying on Islamic policy far more so than in the past. What do you guys think about this? How do the Turks here feel about Turkey's renewed 'Islamic face' that is is putting on foreign policy around the Balkans and reaching out to its Muslim allies: Bosnia, Albania, Sanzak etc, etc.
This also seems to go well with Ceric's recently pan-Islamic dreams considering he made trips to both Kosova and Sanzak, Serbia.

Bosnians will definitely want it, since they are isolated and surrounded. They will need Turkey. I imagine the policy will probably fail in Albania, irrespective of whether the Albanian people would actually want it or not (and for the the larger majority would reject this). Yet still, it would be good for Turkey to offer closer relations with Albania and Bosnia through increased investment activity. In recent years Turkey has been playing a larger and larger economic role in Albania. Investments will help foster the already extant cultural (and for many Albanians, religious) links that are present with the two nations.
Just recently a Turkish minister actively promoted the prioritization of investment in Albania... which is very good news.

I think it's great In fact it's overdue. I wish Turkey could have helped Bosnia and Kosova more than it did.

I welcome a major Turkey involvement of Turkey I just don't think much will change. On a religious level heavy collaboration between muslim Turks Albanians and Bosniaks is a must, as we are living in a time where many subjects take for themselves the right to say what is Islamic and what is not. I welcome our Reis' role. The Balkans must be a strong center of Islam in Europe (where there already are muslim communities, I'm not advocating for proselitism) to be a guide for muslims, if it will not, wahabi like ideologies will take more footfold where they never did. But I'm not too scared about it, Balkan (including Turkish) muslims have shown they know their faith without external unislamic teachings, we just can't put our guard down.

I hope Hungary will also revive it's Ottoman civilisation since Hungary is a Turanian nation as much as Turkey is. The Turkish hamam is Budapest is being renovated, our Islamic centre will be built and hold a library with 50,000 volumes.
