Kosova (Kosovo) has been recognized from NZ. Go and ask jeremic is this true or not he will explain to you. \Spoke to Jeremic and he laughed and sent his best wishes to you guys also he advised that you should look on the New Zealand Foreign affairs web to get the real facts. www.mfat.govt.nz/index.php

Jeremic and you can laugh all you want. NZ already has diplomatic relations with Belgrade why are they establishing diplomatic relations with a serbian province then? If NZ does the same thing with another Serbian province Jeremic should kill himself.Keep living in denial. And as for the website of FM of New Zealand are you sure that they will not post the note that you see in here?

It didn't surprise me anyway, New Zealand isn't significant on the world stage.
I was wondering what happened to the recognitions of kosovo region of late, there you have it, New Zealand.

It didn't surprise me anyway, New Zealand isn't significant on the world stage. I was wondering what happened to the recognitions of kosovo region of late, there you have it, New Zealand. All the democracies in the world have pretty much recognized Kosova. Russia, China, Venezuela, Iraq and others have not. I wonder if I wasn't a Serb in denial who I'd rather have on my side but since beggars can't be choosers I'll stick with these "beacons of freedom" for now. Having the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, Germany, France and Italy recognize you is more than sufficient in my book, the other 55 or so countries are just gravy. We know for sure that there are at least 10-15 contries that wont' recognize out of spite for the U.S.. Another 20 or so won't recognize because of their internal terriortial disputes. So all in all I think we're in a pretty good shape. It's time to build up the army now in an eventual Serb invasion which I'd never put past Belgrade. In an eventual war there are only two likely outcomes: Either no Albanians or no Serbs are left in Kosova and if I were a betting man I'd bet all my money on no Serbs being left.

^ Without the USA, the recognition count would be much more different. Its somewhat ironic that the majority of Islamic nations are deeply opposed to kosovo statehood than the core christian european nations.
Most of the recognitions have come from Germanic nations and other nations closely tied to them.
