I don't know. There is no solid proof so far but it is kind of arrogant to consider ourselves the only creatures in the universe.

yes, because its prooven the universe is very vast. we are just one planet in our system, and there are millions of solar systems in our galaxy and there are countless galaxies... there is no logic we to be the only creatures. do I believe that there is a contact between us and them? most probably not. i find it hard to believe in these conspiracy teories, plus whats the point of hiding it? what I always wanted to know is what is it beyond those galaxies... the teory is that the universe is always expanding, after the big boom, but into what is it expending? according to scientists: into black material but its too abstract.

mathematically, considering the size of the universe... it is far far more likely that there is life out there, perhaps identical to our own, than not...
Black matter is just one of those plugs scientists create in order to fill in what they have yet to properly define and understand.

Do you believe in aliens? Bro, you remember an old epic-metal (kindof) band, called warlord? (they had greek guitarist). They had a song: Aliens, and it just came onto my head! Go listen to it, the ultimate glam-epic-vocals metal track!

Spiral 'UFO' seen by thousands over Norway Home » News » World Thu, 10 Dec 2009 News: World | UFOs A mysterious spiral which lit up the night-sky in Norway yesterday has left UFO-watchers excited and scientists baffled. The Sun newspaper reported that experts believed the spectacle was "an entirely new astral phenomenon." Thousands of Norwegians bombarded newspapers and TV stations to report seeing the spiral phenomenon which lasted for about two minutes. They described a spinning star which trailed a "streaming tail" of blue light before exploding into a "Catherine-wheel" spiral of light. The Huffington Post website said speculation was rampant as to the origin of the phenomenon, with opinion ranging from "anything from a Russian rocket to a meteor or shock wave". The sighting came the day before US President Barack Obama was due in Norway to receive his Nobel Peace Prize. "It looked like a rocket that spun around and around - and then went diagonally across the heavens," Totto Eriksen, from Tromso in northern Norway, told The Sun. "It looked like the moon was coming over the mountain - but then turned into something totally different." As yet, no one has come forward to claim the phenomenon as a hoax, nor have scientists or military experts been able to explain the light show. One theory is that it may have been a light show laser projected onto low clouds, but the dawn timing and large scale of the display makes it unlikely. Stargate fans claim it's a UFO entering the Earth's atomosphere through a wormhole, and say it explains how UFOs seemingly appear and disappear at random in our skies. One of the most popular conspiracy theories links the phenomenon to the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland and rumours of a "Blackhole Project" under way at the giant underground atom-smasher. Norwegian Space Centre chief Scientist Erik Tandberg told The Sun he agreed with many experts who believed it may have been a missile test from Russia, although Russia has quickly moved to deny any such testing. "I agree with everyone in the science community that this light was the weirdest thing. I have never seen anything like this ever," he said. "The spiral suggests the object came off course and balance and entered the spiral movement. Leaking rocket fuel could account for the blue light. "But I know that the military have denied this explanation. So we could be looking at an entirely new natural phenomenon."

Yes.. however, the chances of the development of an intelligence species like humans are very small.. it's more likely that much smaller life forms exist.. and if there were other intelligent beings, they may have existed in the past, but just like humans, were doomed towards self-destruction. However, who knows.. if I had to guess, I would say - yes another intelligent life form exists in the universe.
edit: oh and there was a mathematical model (based on factors such as the probability of all the necessary elements for life existing on a planet; the number of those type of planets in our universe; the chance that this would lead to life; the chance that that life would lead to intelligent life, etc.) that predicted that about 70 intelligent life forms exist (or existed; can't remember which) in the universe.

There are different theories. History channel showed an interesting documentary about ancient aliens. What they show and say about the place in Bolivia was surprising to me. www.vureel.com/video/4313/Ancient-Aliens-Documentary

Both good bands posted here. I didn't know some of you were metalheads here. Right on. By the way yes I do believe in aliens. Anyone here read David Icke books on how the world is secretly run by reptilian aliens? Very entertaining stuff.

If you're suggesting that there were aliens in Bolivia or something, then that's funny. The chances that aliens exist in our time and [especially] space is pretty much nil. The universe is huge, and while I'm sure they do exist, there is no way that by chance, life would develop is such close proximity to each other.. I don't believe in the UFO/alien-abductions/other BS. I doubt we'll ever make contact with aliens because of the whole time and space dimension.

I believe I was spawned from the seed of an alien from outer space that mistook my mommy for another alien.
