According to by K Komis - 2004 The etymology of the place-name Preveza reveals more about the demographic background of the region. In Albanian, prevëza or prevëzë is a small pass I dont have access to the rest of the article but he states that the place was a point of transition for albanian tribes in the 12 century. 12 cent... ...and the albanian word it must be a slavic loanword... And Tremouli is most probably from a surname of the owner of the area... and it means the quaker or the trepid...

Kastor is still a Greek word, if you have it as well it means you adopted the Greek word for it.

Prevez is etymoligically explainable in Albanian. Pre = cut, vez = egg, viz = line.

tre -three
mulli/mouli - mills
3 mills ...mills for most likely grinding corn/wheat into flour
a town with 3 mills
tre muli

Albanian have both ls, the first pronounced like English 'l' and the latter like Greek 'l'. If it came from the Greek we'd write it "Tremuli" ... now it's Tremulli, from the number 'tre' (three) and the word 'mulli' (mill) ... simple huh ;D

If 60% of Southern Albania is Greek, then 50% of Montenegro and Greece is Albanian. Check out these FRYOMiaks from Mavrovo: More assimilated Albos (or they could be swagger jackers. )
