No I didn't, a croat is not always a croatian and a pannonian is not necessarily a croat or croatian :-)
My point is he is everything, we are everything...

I didnt know that there were Germans in Pannonia, although I wouldnt be surprised if Croats in the area had some extensive German or Hungarian mixture.

The Pannonian Croats are their own slavic people. They even had their own name - Sokci. They are Catholic slavs that assimilated into Croat ethnogenisis similarly to the way Torlaks did with Serbs. They actually make up a significant percentage of the Croat populace by heritage around 20%.

^You don't know the history of the term sokac. It's hungarian. Some people took it upon them but the real Croats won't have a bar of it.

I do know & I know that there are actually very contrasting theories on the name which is why I didn't try to go into that. Sokci & Croats were even distinguished in census. Sokci should have their own topic. I'll open one soon.

There is only one theory, the hungarians imposed it on us just like they also imposed their language in some regions of baranja. It's not rocket science. We've been screwed over by everyone matey.

If there is one theory"imposed" by the Hungarians then what is the Croat theory? Or no would that make two theories?

I just feel i have to recommend to you, that in order to have an overall image of what you try to study, you must actually travel there. Walk there, hear families talking to each other, see them, hear people talking to each other, interact with them, live with them. Before: My wife, at the start of our visits in southern Serbia (Predejane/Leskovac or Nis) (we had to spend the night there in order for us to get from Athens to Bosnia, which is nearly 1300 kilometers, otherwise she would never visit those places normally) used to tell me how those are not Serbs and are just GARBAGE. After: Now she considers our stay in southern Serbia A MUST, she loved Nis, she loved southern Serbia, after our recent trip from ex-yu (this new years eve), after visiting the last super market in south serbia for the last pasteta/jelen pivo/slanina/vegeta/zacin c/etc.... we both simply cried. i know that emotions are irrelevant with science, but the LACK OF IN VIVO experience ... is even more irrelevant. In contrast to you, i have been in Bosnia/south Serbia many times, and one time in Bulgaria, (and have driven through Slavic-Makedonia many times as well, even inside cities like Bitola) and i most probably can see and judge must better than you.
