Btw, Nikola would you say that this guy looks Macedonian? He kinda looks like some Macedonian I knows father. See the thing is, even though you could say that Albanians have a certain look, and Greeks have their own look, more or less, we Macedonians don't really. We vary from Med, to Dinaric, to Slavic, to Germanic, etc. That guy you posted looks probably closer to Bosnian or Croatian but, if you were to tell me he was Macedonian, I would believe you. If any Albanian came up to me and told me he was Macedonian, (no matter how typical Albanian he looked) I would believe him. We have people who are clearly Turks or Gypsies that call themselves Macedonians and we just accept that. I've said this before but I personally look more Slav like and some of my med fellow countrymen sometimes comment about that but they accept me as one of their own. I think Macedonia (and a lot of the Balkan countries) is where eastern Europe meets southern Europe, meets central Europe. We have a bit of everything.

Here is a picture that describes what I'm talking about. If you look at the guy on the far left (a Slav?) and compare him to the guy on the far right (med?), they look completely different. And yet they both Macedonians and nobody has any issues with that.

Well, I think that most people on the Balkans would get along pretty well as long as we refrained from speaking about history and politics

Macedonian looks are REALLY mixed, probably the most heterogenous in the balkans I'd say. You got looks ranging from completely Slavic, completely Med, Dinaric, to completely Sarmatian/Iranic, and some even Turkic.

You are right Krivo that they do tend to range widely across the spectrum except I wouldn't say that Turkic (semi-mongoloid Turanid that in the case of FYROM could have been derived from Bulgars or some other Turkic people) influence is that small judging from the pictures (hit: it is enough to look at the eye region) and it appears in at least 1/3 of the people (rough distribution appears to be 1/3 Greek, 1/3 mixed Turkic and 1/3 Slavic, Dinaric etc appearance wise judging by the pictures).
