I found this pretty interesting site by chance which I thought to share with you. It shows the Greek medieval capital as it looked like with the help of computer reconstructions in 1200. Look yourself if you are interested. Good thing is you get an impression that is not disturbed by the nasty ottoman-muslim extensions that have been added throughout history. A pretty commendable work as far as I can judge. Kind of a treasure for people who are interested in Byzantine history. You greeks couldn't exist today without turks and ottomans support. Sultan and turks save greece with all that whole balkan include and east europe from roman vandals.
