Nope, it's not about that. It's talking about legally they cannot do a religious ceremony there because it is a museum according to the laws in Turkey. In museums you cannot perform religious ceremonies.

Which truth? That the turkish state does not respect its minorites and their past which is three times and more older than yours on Anatolia?

It has nothing to do with minorities, it has to do with separation of religion and state.
In any museums in Turkey, you are not allowed to perform a religious procession. Comprendo?
Turks ruled Russia, Turkey, Iran, Balkans, and North Africa.

Good for Turkey. The place has been designated as a museum and it is important for people to respect that. Otherwise they should just go home to their medieval antiquated complexes. +1 for Thracian.

Actually she doesn't stop them out of her free will. She tells them she will get into trouble. That it is illegal to perform the ceremony there. She states Toren = Ritual or Ceremony. Because the Law states such activities cannot take place in museums. She adds there is like 1000 people waiting downstairs to also come up and visit and they are blocking them. The people are blocking both the upstairs entrance and downstairs entrance, they must finish and allow the others to enter also, she says please before the security gets involved just move on... She says because you are taking photo's its going to look like we gave you the permission to have a ceremony here. She also says this bulding isn't capable of holding too many of you here at one time, you shouldnt stay there. As long as they stay there they can't allow the group of 1000 people up. There is also another group of 6 hundred people waiting. She keeps stating that the law doesn't allow such a ceremony (basically protecting her own back).
She is saying in the background go and tell the other Greek tourists it isn't our fault we can't let them up.
My view she was scared she's gona get fired, and they tourists downstairs were hassling them too. it wasn't anything personal. By the way it is true you cannot do anything religious near govt buildings or museums. islamic or other.... Its a secular country. Thats the way it goes.

Its about time to reconvert the museum into a church....all our churches are today either mosques or just ruins in this f.ucking country...and the few remaining and intact ones are converted into museums...

We don't use churches much in Turkey thats probably why. Might as well make em museums and get some money off em Ataturk wasn't a religious man, don't see why he should burn in hell though, after all he did save an entire nation expelling all our enemies etc
