Today the Greek people are talking. Ok we will pay for the crisis as much we are responsible...but now the scumbags that earned millions and billions of euros must go to prison... The small bussinessman who didn't give receipts and cost to the state 500 euros per year is nothing in front of the scumbags that from the bying of the 4 German submarines got 90.000.000 euros miza...for their pockets... or the 100 millions for the never-worked C4I system for the Olympics protection..... THE LOOTERS IN PRISON... check the news here : www.zougla.gr/

They'll be in another country before you even get the warrant... Maybe they'll even spend the cash living in Turkey...

Yeah, I read about it earlier today. I don't understand how Greeks reason. Okay, so your politicians screwed you, but how will it help when you strike, paralyze the little economy you have left and vandalize buildings? Not to say that 3 people lost their lifes. Who's going to pay for all of that? Certainly not the politicians you wish to punish.
There's a saying: a country has the leaders it deserves. You guys share a blame in all of this. Even the guys in this forum. When the subject of your economy was brought up in this forum, you acted arrogantly: you laughed it off, mocked your critics, and said you're 'all that'. Even now you act with pride, saying the Greek has money--it's the goverment that is bankrupt. If that's the case and you got nothing to worry about, then sit at home and chill.

To say how good that the VAT risen from 21 to 23%? And welcome IMF as a philanthropic organization???

The bill is going back to the Greek people. That's what I'm saying. Unless you get to the politicians and cause a revolution or punish them, you will be paying for the destruction you have caused today.

Greeks will pay for the wastes of the last 30 years. End of discussion here. But we won't calm down till we see those who earned millions of euros, when we bought weapons from the Germans, when we built roads to the big Greek and foreign structure companies etc etc, in prison.
When Romania takes aids from the IMF because your politicians ate the money, I would justify Romanian people to get on the streets and trying to fix their problems...and not continue to live with 200€ monthly and to be the call-girl provider of Europe...

I agree totally with your logic. It is the same for me. I have been watching attentively with all that is going on in Greece. Protests, rioting, burning and killing will only worsen the already nasty situation there. It will hurt the economy, tourism, and any effort to fix the problems. Yes, there are some very greedy officials in the Greek government, but the people must help fix the problems and stop protesting. Get rid of that anarchist party. Once everything gets rolling to better times, hang the freakin' officials that deserve it.

But they must adjust and tighten their belts for an easier ride. Also, those EU countries that hold the largest shares of Greek bonds, mainly France and Germany, will feel the pinch, too.
